Hello, my name is Jason, and I'm a British national. I like longer housesits and have done several of these in Asia and the UK (please see testimonials below). I'm a former civil servant of almost 20 years experience, a mature and confident individual, I'm able to deal with situations and complications. I like both rural and urban settings. I am very comfortable with domestic pets especially cats and dogs. I am a cyclist and permission to borrow a bicycle would be helpful in order that I might get around to local stores for provisions, where appropriate. I am also a vegan, non-smoker and non-drinker.

Why they want to house sit
I like being with animals, especially dogs and cats and have yet to meet any that I haven't liked! I am an occasional writer (self-published) so a setting suitable for creatives would be welcome. I also enjoy the lifestyle I lead at the moment where I can meet good people, cute pets and experience a new and interesting location as I make my way in the world.

I am a calm and mature adult, I enjoy my own company and am tidy, neat and clean. I have never let any home owner down, have always stayed the distance and returned pets and property as I found them. I do not smoke and I do not drink or use any drugs at all. Please note, English is my one and only language.

Amazing sitter who loves dogs and is considerate of your home
I highly recommend Jason to anyone who wants their pets and home well cared for. I would happily trust him with our dogs and home again. Jason was caring and considerate when he looked after our dogs and home for a month. He genuinely loves dogs and takes great care of them. He walked our dogs daily, took them to the dog park and played with them in the yard. It was reassuring to know they were in caring hands and they became attached to Jason. They clearly enjoyed his company. He is comfortable with large, enthusiastic dogs. Jason also cared for our fish and plants, it was delightful to come home to beautiful flowering orchids. He was considerate of our home. We came home to a tidy, cared for house. He even mowed the lawn for us. It was very easy to make arrangements with Jason and he kept in touch during his stay, sharing photos and videos of our dogs.

Jason was wonderful. He arrived on time where I met him off the bus. We walked up to the house together where he met our cat, Tiggy who was immediately affectionate and comfortable with him. We found him gentle and considerate and interested in us, the house and the area. He did a splendid house sit and even put a laundry wash through even though this was not mentioned. We would definitely recommend Jason.

Tip top house sitter
Jason was everything you want in a house sitter, clean and tidy, attentive to all the details, responsive to all communications and loving with our dogs. We live in a fairly remote village but that did not put him off as he loves the countryside and walking, he was with us for 5 days and took the dogs out on the hills everyday. The house was very clean and tidy on our return, he had even washed his bed linen and remade the bed - very helpful indeed. He communicated every day and coped well with any small issues that arose. Jason is very good company and fits in to his environment extremely well. We hope very much to have him for another house sit before long and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

Jason was an excellent house-sitter for us. He understood and took on the info about the essentials of the house (heating, kitchen, laundry), and took good care of our two cats. He fed them well and gave them TLC (once they got to accept him after a week or two). It wasn't a short stay (2.5 months), but he consistently sent us regular email reports (more than one a week) on the house and the garden and the cats, including photos and short video clips. We felt that the house and cats were in very good hands - he was very reliable, and through in his reports. We would happily have him back if the situation arises.

Jason is all you could want in a cat and house sitter!
Jason came to hang out with our feline house mate over a long weekend and he was incredible! Before and during his visit he was thoughtful, considerate and reliable. Beforehand, he checked in and asked thoughtful questions. During, he sent us lovely updates on how Mishka was, which we really appreciated. It was clear that he was very attentive and worked hard to create a bond with Mishka - who was very chill when we came home, a telltale sign! The house was left clean and tidy. He even offered to wash and dry his bed sheets before he left (although we felt that was way too much of an ask given all he'd already done)! Jason worked hard to cultivate a relationship based on trust and communication throughout our interactions and we couldn't have asked for more. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an animal and house sitter in a heartbeat. We hope we might get to reconnect again some time! Thank you Jason, we are so grateful! :)

Returning sit
Jason returned to help me with Grogo and the flat when I was away for 5 weeks. As a 5-star sitter, he kept my greedy cat happy and healthy, and flat secure while I was away. We kept in regular communication as usual, and he was very resourceful and adaptable if I needed extra help with deliveries or change in feeding instructions for Grogo. I am always grateful for reliable and trustworthy sitters like Jason. Gives me the peace of mind when I travel. Always a Pleasure
...to have Jason cat sit the kitties! Exactly a year after he last sat for me, Jason happened to be in the vicinity (read: South East Asia) and offered to sit again for me for three weeks. As always Jason is extremely communicative and offers constant updates so you can be rest assured that your pets will be in good hands. Jason genuinely loves cats (and dogs!) and spoke fondly of Donnie and Jet while I was away. With him I am at ease and am less anxious about going away, also a great friend!

Seamless and enjoyable housesit with Jason!
Jason is a fantastic and reliable house sitter that I would recommend to anyone. He took care of our beloved dog Didi for about 10 days. Our dog fell in love with Jason and would follow him around, sleep in his room, and have couch cuddles during TV time. Jason is clearly great with animals. He understands they need time and care to bond, pretty cool! He is also an exceptionally responsible house guest. Our home was treated with respect and we returned from our trip to find it very tidy. Jason was excellent at keeping in touch and would send regular unprompted (fun!) updates including photos and videos. He would also always answer very quickly if we had questions for him. Trusted Sitter
We made contact with Jason several months before our trip and once he accepted the position he kept in touch providing us with information regarding his flight schedule and arrival date and times. We had the pleasure of meeting Jason before we left for our overseas trip, he stayed with us for 3-4 nights prior to our departure Jason is a kind, considerate man, he cared for our 2 dogs and our home for 1 month. He sent regular updates to us along with photos and videos. Our house was clean, tidy and well cared for on our return. we would happily use Jason again if he's willing to travel back to Australia.

Millie in Singapore
Jason took care of our Millie girl (3 year old cat) and a small school of pet fish for two weeks while we were away. The entire time leading up to the house/cat sit Jason was in regular contact with us and was very easy to communicate with. We had initially plans to travel for three weeks and then our dates also shifted slightly too. At each curve ball Jason was very adaptable and accommodating of the changes which we were very grateful of. While we were travelling Jason provide us with multiple pictures each day, and it was one of the highlights of the morning for us to see what Millie had been up to each day! Like most of us seeking pet sitting services, our fur baby Millie and her welfare means the absolute world to us, so we were delighted to have someone take such good care of her. Even though she is very reserved with new people, she appeared to develop a healthy tolerance of a new human in her territory and I can only say that it was due in large part to Jason being very patient and understanding of her! :-) Highly recommended!

Easy, wonderful experience
Jason watched our cats and home for two weeks and he made the time extremely easy. We didn't worry at all while we were traveling, which was such a relief! He made sure he understood everything well, communicated with any questions while we were away, and sent us cute update pictures. He was also super helpful in meeting with another house sitter to get her set up when we ended up extending our trip. We would very happily welcome Jason back to our home and know we were leaving it in good hands!

Experienced house-sitter and great company
Jason looked after my playful ginger cat, Grogo and my flat for 4 weeks. Jason is a six star sitter, helping me keep my cheeky cat company and flat secure. He is responsible, mature and calm which really helped Grogo. And through regular video and messages updates, I can see Grogo loves him! Jason walked Grogo as instructed and interacted well with the young fella who is always needing human company. I hope Jason found the sit enjoyable, be it location wise and the amenities and attractions at this leafy suburb. I would highly recommend Jason, he is trustworthy, helpful, kind, responsive and easy going company. I would be more than happy to host him again and I know Grogo would be happy to spend time with him again.

I would recommend Jason to anyone who is looking for reliable and kind person to care for their pets
Jason looked after my 3 dogs , boerboel Kingston, Pitbull Indie & thai mix rescue Lily for two weeks while I was on business trip and was fantastic! He sent daily reports and photos / video’s of them which really put me at ease being away for so long. His communication was great throughout, he let me know everything what was going on at my house with pool cleaner etc. I wish my Lily could write review too because her actions speak volumes! She was loving her twice a day long beach walks with Jason and I bet she was sad to see him leave. I would recommend Jason to any other dog owner in a heart beat.

I think my cats like Jason more than me now....
This was my first time opening up my home to a stranger (whom I now call my friend) and going with Jason eased any worries I had and he proved to be the best (hu)man for the job. Jason is extremely responsive, humorous, kind, empathetic and very considerate, something quite rare in this day and age. He sent me photos of the cats daily and gave me detailed updates on what they were up to, in fact he probably spent more time with them than I did! They clearly were in very good company because one of my cats Jet who had been balding around her belly seemed to have grown a slightly thicker coat too, if this isn't a miracle I don't know what is. Jason left the house in excellent condition and even made sure I had clean sheets to come home to because god forbid I'd even have the strength to lift a toothbrush after 37 hours of traveling. If you would like someone who will make you feel at ease with the entire process from start to finish, your pets and home will be in good hands with Jason.

Practical and disciplined.
Jason house sat and took care of my 15 plus cats and a shy rescue dog for 3 weeks in October 2022. In that time Jason kept me regularly updated with photos and videos and I had complete peace of mind while I was away that he was a very practical and disciplined pet carer. Maloo my dog received multiple walks each day and upon my return could see that she was looking more svelte, which was desperately needed. I can recommend Jason as a practical and reliable house sitter and pet carer to any future home owners. Thanks Jason for all your care!

House sitting Minnie Mouse
Jason came to my house for about 5 days over the Christmas period . He was very kind to Minnie and did every thing that I asked him to do . he also kept me in touch with his travel movements before coming and was absolutely punctual. Jason is the ideal pet/house sitter!
This is our first experience with finding a pet/house sitter and we are so grateful that Jason was able to care for our dogs for three weeks this summer. Jason came the night before to familiarise himself with the dogs and our home, and we left the next day feeling reassured that they were left in safe hands. He was in constant contact with us while we were out of the country and we had no worries while we were away. Upon return we were delighted to find that our dogs were relaxed and happy and had clearly been well cared for. Our home was left clean and basically as we had left it. We would not hesitate to recommend Jason!!!
