About this sitter
Willing to share expenses too! We are utilizing the Stanford Hospital and expect to be in the area through most of 2024. As empty nesters we enjoyed caring for other folks animals and homes while exploring the world pre-covid. We stayed in our own house for over two years but are now ready to branch out a bit. We would enjoy helping you out so you can do the same. We are experienced house sitters and home owners, and take care of animals and properties as excellent hired staff would... but at no charge. We have completed 7 mind my house sits with mutual pleasure and hosted 6 exchange students and several families in our home over the years and have enjoyed each unique experience. We are skilled at project management and home maintenance as well and could enjoy managing construction work during our stays.

We have completed seven mindmyhouse sitting assignments, each one very successfully. We hosted visitors in our home many times through airbnb and earned a superhost status for quality of service. In 2018 we sat a farm in France and cared for two Border Collies in Ireland. In 2017 we completed assignments in England (dog and cat) and Scotland (cat and chickens). In the autumn of 2016 we house sat in Duras France for 6 weeks taking care of 3 dogs and 2 chickens and have the testimonial on this site. Later in 2016 we took care of a comfortable home and 2 cats in San Francisco California. We have had our own cats, dogs, fish, rabbit, monkey and parrot (in Nigeria), parakeets, and chameleon but are now pet free allowing us more flexibility to take care of your home. For variety of animals our stay on a farm in France was outstanding. We took care of sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, dog, cat, pond, ducklings, incubating goose eggs, and had a fantastically good time.

Wonderful house sitters
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Paul & Kristin, who arrived the night before we left on our trip. They are warm and generous people, in addition to being very organised, and asked many practical questions about the running of the house, and which garden plants needed attention. Most reassuring, was Kristin's careful note taking on the daily routines of our cat and our dog, and the loving attention she and Paul gave them. The pets had a very happy, contented time! We returned to a beautifully clean house, and lovely notes about their time in our home. I wholly recommend Kristin & Paul !

The Best!!
It was lovely to meet Paul and Kristin who did a wonderful job of looking after our house, garden and pets while we were away on holiday. They are lovely, genuine people and I would highly recommend them as house sitters. We returned to a sparkling house, tidy garden and very well looked after cat and hens. Sorry that we were not able to spend a bit more time getting to know them and hope that they will return to visit us in the future.

Kind, trustworthy, stellar sitters - Book them!
Paul and Kristen stayed at my place and watched my two young & energetic cats for a long weekend. They were able to time their arrival so we could meet before I left. I received updates and pics while I was away and my cats were well entertained and very happy while they were here. There was also an update of the weekend and the house was very clean! Really nice people - would definitely ask them to sit again if they're in the area!

A successful house sit
Paul and Kristin house sat for us for 6 weeks. They cared for our 3 dogs and sent regular updates which reassured us during our absence. They kept the house and garden tidy and did some useful odd jobs! We are very happy to recommend them. Ruth and Peter Davey
