About this sitter
We first started house-sitting in 2010 and have enjoyed helping people with their homes and animals ever since and in various countries. We take a pride in doing a really good job, tailoring what we do to how the house owner wants things done. We're looking for a relaxing time to discover the local area, with walks and preferably amenities quite close. We love animals and it's so nice to "borrow" your pets!
Why they want to house sit
As above, plus we are looking for opportunities for a change of scene and to have new experiences. We're both creatives so I guess that suits our spirits. As we age, we probably have less energy than previously, but we're still willing to take responsibility while you're away and to keep you well informed with honesty and integrity.
Their experience
Yes, in the Silver league with Mindmyhouse, plus previously, maybe before the site started keeping records and with another organisation. Our houseowners always seem to have been appreciative and we have excellent testimonials, plus some email references. As I worked for the NHS and in social care prior to that, I have always had a DBS, although I have now let it lapse.
What can they bring to the assignment
As above. Honesty, integrity, empathy and a love of travel and new experiences, including meeting people when the opportunity arises.
Oh, and a sense of humour, which always helps, we find!

Adrienne & Terry - Great Sitters
We recently had the good fortune to have Adrienne and Terry come and sit for us and our two dogs for a three week period. In addition to being easy conversationalists and good company, Adrienne and Terry were very responsible and attentive with the duties we had left them. They kept us well informed to give us the peace of mind to enjoy our holiday without bothering us unnecessarily. We came back to our house and garden clean and tidy having been well looked after and did a great job of walking our dogs daily and keeping them happy. They did a great job of managing our veggie patch in our absence. I would definitely welcome them again as trustworthy, reliable sitters, and highly recommend them to anybody else.

Amazing Adrienne & Terrific Terry!
I had a wonderful experience with Adrienne and Terry who looked after my 2 dogs for 2 weeks. My boiler broke the day before I was going away and Adrienne and Terry were really understanding and accommodated the plumber coming to put in a new one. My house and dogs were looked after so well and it was a pleasure to work with Adrienne and Terry during this dog sit. I would highly recommend Adrienne and Terry.

Peace of Mind

Perfect Peace of Mind
Adrienne and Terry were just brilliant! They took care of our cats and our home beautifully. Everything was easy. Communication was great, the cats loved the attention and the house was immaculate when were returned... we even had a hot meal waiting for us on our return.
