About this sitter
I'm a single female in my mid-50s living in northeastern Oregon for the last few years. I work as the executive assistant to the General Counsel at Eastern Oregon University. I'm interested in a housesits mainly summer through December for shorter durations, due to working full-time. Housesitting is an enjoyable option for me to explore other parts of U.S. and the world. I desire to fill my life with things that truly matter and that enrich and enliven me. For housesits, I enjoy both secluded/rural/nature settings and the vibrancy of town living.
Why they want to house sit
I'd like to explore a new place and travel out of La Grande now and then. I enjoy animal companionship.

I'm mature, responsible, trustworthy, flexible, cheerful, thoughtful, and kind. I'm affectionate and playful and have a caring and calm disposition. Animals quickly feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm considerate, a good listener and will communicate well with you. I grew up with parakeets, dogs, cats, and horses on a farm. In my adult life, I've been the owner of two cats, a lab/pitbull mix dog, a few chickens and finches. With my administrative assistant work experience, handling your mail would be no problem. You can feel completely comfortable having me care for your home, mail and the animals and garden you love.

Reference for Ella
Ella stayed in my condo and took care of my cat for 10 days while I was out of town. She did a great job- my cat was happy and my condo was clean when I returned. She even went out of her way to arrive a day earlier than planned so we could meet before I left, and even drove me to the airport shuttle at 4am (and picked me up late at night upon my return)!

One of the Best
Ella was able to house and dog sit for me while I was away for Thanksgiving in 2015. Ella is considerate, neat, responsible, trustworthy and caring. I have two dogs, Quinn & Molly, that Ella cared for; she even allowed both dogs to cuddle up with her to sleep! I’ve invited her to return and dog sit for me again in 2017, if she is available. I would highly recommend Ella to care for your home and pets.
