Hi, thank you for reading our listing.

We are Angie and Paul, a semi retired British couple who love Canada and relocated to Vancouver Island in 2010 for a better way of life. I (Angie) am an ex UK Customs Officer, now involved with running our local community clinic, and Paul is a software designer, deputy fire chief and part time ambulance driver. We have had house sitters ourselves in the past in the UK for our cats, so appreciate how important it is to have people you can trust to care for your home and much loved pets while you are away. We are non smokers and honest, reliable, responsible people.

As lifelong cat lovers we are interested in caring for cats primarily, but have experience with dogs and lots of other animals, so will happily consider well behaved dogs and other small animals.

We are fit and active, so stairs, hills, long walks etc are no problem.

Why they want to house sit

We became house sitters again as we are hoping to do more travelling and this way we can also help other people travel with peace of mind, as we guarantee we will care for your home and pets as if they were our own.

Their experience

We were experienced house sitters in the UK and have been doing it again here regularly since 2015.

What can they bring to the assignment

Living towards the north of Vancouver Island as we do, we are very practical - we can cope with most things. We are very good at giving cats (and dogs) medications if required, and are not worried about the little presents left on the doorstep, hairballs etc!
We are quiet, clean, non smokers who will look after everything and everyone as you would do yourself.
