About this sitter
We are a married couple aged 65years 58who currently live on our yacht in the Mediterranean south of France .We own a business and home in the UK which has enable us to travel for the past 8years .
Why they want to house sit
We are looking to house sit for the next few weeks to give us a break from the yacht and to experience some more of what life has to offer.

We have completed two very successful house sits in France in 2017/2018.
Each lasting three months. The first with one very friendly cuddly cat called Bonny. The second with four outside cats that still needed a bit of attention each day feeding cuddles and a bit of play. Also 11 sheep. Both owners said they where very happy with our efforts and would give us a reference if needed.
Winter 2018-2019 we did 4 months house sit in Spain for a cat called Grace. We where in the mountains quite remote and had a wonderful time. There was also lots of stray cats to feed each day which kept us guessing who was going to turn up to be fed. We have a good reference from there.
What can they bring to the assignment
Marian is a successful business woman who's interests centre in the arts and crafts , oil painting, knitting and crocheting .
Philip was a self employed carpenter specialising in restoration works and is a qualified teacher.

Wonderful sitters
Marian and Phillip house sat for us for 2.5 weeks. We spent a lovely couple of days with them before we left. They were great company, but let us get on with getting ready too. They were great with all the animals- sheep, cats, ducks, chickens.. We were so relaxed knowing they were in good hands. They were so capable- they didn't have any questions or problems while we were away and just contacted us enough. They were so flexible about how long we went for, and were happy that we extended our trip. We arrived home to happy pets and a very clean house. Marian even cleaned all our windows! Not an easy job! We really hope they will come and sit for us again and can heartily recommend them.

Caring, dedicated,conscientious house sitters
Marian and Philip house sat for us for 4 months from December 2018 until April 2019. I cannot praise them highly enough for looking after Grace. She became very unwell a few weeks after we left but they persevered and got her eating again. She is now thriving thanks to them. I know they had there own personal events happening elsewhere but they stuck with the house sit until the end. We are very grateful for that. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any house sit as dedicated, reliable conscientious house sitters.
