About this sitter
I am an experienced home sitter, with successful home sits in various locations in Europe, Canada and Central America. As a person, I am a responsible, mature and conscientious individual, very responsive to the needs of the home owner.
I am seeking an authentic setting in either a rural or urban locale. I'm open to short-term sits throughout the year. I'm especially interested in a longer term house sit (1-3 years) anywhere in the world.
Why they want to house sit
My experience confirms that house sitting allows for a more personalized and unique vacationing experience; as opposed to the conventional tourist hotels. Developing a relationship with the family and their neighbors adds to a mutual feeling of comfort and trust; as well as providing more of a basis for the authentic nature of the destination experience.

Larry Gregory, is the longest serving member of MindMyHouse.com. Since 2005, Mr. Gregory has had successful house sitting experiences in Europe including France, Italy, Ireland and England, Canada and Costa Rica. In March 2009, Mr. Gregory was featured in the MindMyHouse e-newsletter.

Mr. Gregory's 30 years in educational and clinical Psychology has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to work with a variety of situations and people.
Having grown up on a farm, Mr. Gregory also has a diverse range of expertise with many types of animals, as well as plants.
Larry enjoys photography, hiking and the multicultural experience, in all its aspects.
I also bring experience, maturity and responsibility. I have owned and maintained homes, automobiles and cared for animals for many years and would treat yours with as much care as I have my own.

Friendly, reliable, experienced housesitter
Larry was, from our first communication, friendly, open, and helped educate us on our first time using a MMH sitter! He provided updates for peace of mind while travelling, and took great care of our cats, fish, and elderly rat. On our return the house was spotless, all plants happy, and he provided a friendly welcome and debrief chat. I hope Larry had a great time exploring Hamilton, and we'd be very happy to both recommend and use Larry in the future.
