About this sitter
My wife Anita and are are former teachers and are fond of travelling in our VW T4 camper van, swap house or sometimes do housesitting .
We are in particular interested in hiking, bike riding or meeting people in other countries.
During my professional time, I was quite engaged in exchanges and European projects such as Comenius or Erasmus.
Why they want to house sit
As we sometimes offer our house we also like to sit house in different countries.
Nature, history or culture (language) are are foremost interests.
Their experience
For the last couple of years we have been in charge of several houses of friends or acquaintances: in France (Alsace) with garden and animals , Loire Atlantique with garden, Savoie or Vosges with cat and garden ; in the Netherlands or during the last three years in Portugal - Faro area- in winter time with garden, cat and dog.

Spontan und super Zuverlässig
Anita und Wolfgang waren im Frühherbst 2022 bei mir in Schweden. Die beiden kamen relativ spontan zu mir, da mein Housesitter kurzfristig abgesagt hatte. Ich hatte schon alles für die Reise gebucht und sie haben ihre Reise abgesagt um zu mir zu kommen und mir zu helfen. MeineKatzen, Hühner, Lammböcke und unsere Hündin wurden perfekt und mit viel Liebe und Herzlichkeit versorgt. Im Gemüsegarten wurden die letzten Arbeiten erledigt und die Häuser( Wohnhaus sowie die Stuga) waren blitzblank sauber(viel sauberer als vorher) und gepflegt. Auch mein Sohn der kurzfristig dazu kam wurde wie ein Familienmitglied aufgenommen. Anita und Wolfgang kann man als Housesitter nur wärmstens empfehlen und ich bin froh weiterhin Kontakt mit ihnen zu haben

Perfect house sitters who will be friends for life
Wolfgang and Anita took on our untidy and not too clean house - we returned to a spotless one, with a meal in the fridge waiting for us! Our bolchy cat adopted them and they sent us regular updates on her and the house. It was autumn so no gardening was required. They are a lovely, friendly couple with hours of stories to tell, in many languages!. I can highly recommend them.
