I am a 56-year-old, well-educated, active and reliable woman who enjoys a calm and healthy lifestyle. I love exploring the world through house and animal sitting and creating a peaceful, well-cared-for home environment wherever I stay.
I value trust, clear communication, and mutual respect, and I always aim to make the experience easy and reassuring for homeowners.
Being semi-retired allows me to be very present, flexible, and attentive to both your home and your animals.

I will care for your home as if it were my own. I personally own and have restored a historic wooden house in Southern Norway (from 1871), which has given me a deep respect for maintaining and caring for a property.
Pets
I grew up with Labradors and cats and feel very comfortable with animals. I understand how important routine, attention, and affection are, and I genuinely enjoy their company.

Five Weeks, One Happy Cat, Zero Stress🐱✨
Sabine stayed in my place for 5 weeks and I couldn’t have asked for a better house sitter. She kept in touch throughout, took great care of my home and my plants (which were clearly very happy!), and most importantly — my cat was relaxed and clearly well looked after 🐱💛 She’s very friendly, reliable, and left everything clean and in great order. She even left some little pressies — which was lovely (though I may need to discourage this from becoming a precedent 😉). I highly recommend Sabine and would happily welcome her back anytime!

Sabine French
Sabine was here in my place near Lucca Tuscany in June 2024. She was really spoiling the two dogs with love and attention and lots of walks. They were delighted with her and missed her after she was gone. 2 cats got the same attention and the two hens looked pleased too! The house was tidy and I would gladly take her back another time!

Absolutely Brilliant!
Sabine was our first experience of using a house sitter & naturally we were a little apprehensive about leaving our pets & house with a complete stranger! Sabine arrived the evening before we left & instantly made us feel at ease. During our week away she kept us updated with pictures & messages showing our dog & cat were content & everything was in order with the house etc. On our return the house was spotlessly clean & the animals relaxed & happy so much so I think our dog would have left with her if she could! Communication before, during & after were excellent. We would highly recommend Sabine to anyone & hope we will be lucky enough for her to come back & visit us again. Thank you Sabine. Our housesit with Sabine
We asked Sabine to look after our house and timid dog Tiko for a week. In a nutshell, we couldn't have asked for a better, nicer, more caring person. Tiko obviously was enjoying himself on his numerous walks and trips to the beach, judging by the photos that Sabine sent us via Whjatsapp We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.

I went on vacations and Sabine took care of my house and my cats, they were súper relaxed and well feeded when i came back, it looks like they spend a really good time with her. 2 months house sit in Bali
Sabine came for a 2 months housesit to my house. She took over from another house sitter so we didn't meet in person but she got her share of troubles in my home right after she arrived, that she handled in a amazing way. She arrived in a house partly broken of a previous earthquake, the dogs were having major problems with ticks and 1 dog got very sick, she handled it all like a pro with a shower of love for the animals and kept me up to date with messages and pictures. My animals loved her reiki sessions and her playing music for them. She has left a great impression to all my friends here and I hope I get to meet her someday, somewhere also ? Sabine French
Sabine minded our apartment, rental apartment, (with two changeovers), and cat for 3 weeks from Aug 20-Sept 10, 2018. She looked after both apartments very well, Sooty appeared to have been well cared for and she communicated with us while we were on holiday in Scotland in a professional but friendly manner. She also watered our plants and vegetables and kept the place in fine fettle while she was here. Sabine received pleasant appraisals from our guests and there were no complaints. We were extremely happy with her as our house sitter and would recommend her to any future house owners.

Contented animals and spotless house

Great housesitter
Sabine house sat for us for a month during the summer of 2017 while we were away. She had one nervy cat to look after and did us and the cat proud. She was easy to communicate with to set up the house sit and flexible about dates and times. While we were away we had complete confidence in her and came back to a house that had been immaculately looked after. We particularly enjoyed getting to know her beforehand and hearing about all her plans and we wish her the best in her future travels. We would not hesitate to recommend her as a housesitter.

Ideal housesitter
If Sabine offers to sit for you then you need look no further. She looked after my two dogs and large house over Christmas on her own. She is energetic, confident, reliable and not be easily fazed. It was so nice being able to go away knowing that the dogs and house were in safe hands. She left the house perfectly clean and tidy and the dogs were exhausted from their long walks, I couldn´t have asked for anything more. Good luck Sabine on your travels x

Best friend for Cosmo (our dog)
