About this sitter
My name is Ludmila. I am a teacher of English from the Czech Republic. I have a holiday in July and August and some few days holidays during the school year. I like animals because I had animals as a child, my children had rabbits, a hamster and a cat.
My husband´s name is George. He is a civil engineer and he likes architecture, sport and travelling.
Why they want to house sit
I want to improve my language skills. I want to stay in native environment, read books, newspapers, watch TV and listen to the radio. We both like animals, walking and watching surrounding and first of all we like to be part of native culture for a while. I have been studying English for ages and I love languages, culture and foreign countries.
Their experience
I am experienced. I have worked for the National Trust of England in Wales and the Lake District. I have been living with animals all my life. I have friends in London and I have been looking after their house and cats for a long time. I have met great families in London, Spessart, Coltfield and Bath thanks to mindmyhouse and spent a wonderful time in their house with their cats and dogs I can give you their references on request. In July and August 2018 I looked after Molly, Sid and Marry in Coltfield Scotland and in 2019 I looked after Reggie and Scout in a house in Bath. I regularly took care of cats in London. Last summer I looked after 2 geese in Halton Runcorn. It was a new and enriching experience for me.
What can they bring to the assignment
I can bring you feeling of safety when you are on holiday because I will do my best to look after your darlings and a house. I am an experienced housewife and I am used to taking care of the house and pets. I will be happy to be in foreign surrounding and your pets will be happy to have a good company. If you are interested I can send you references from the owners of the houses I looked after because I am in touch with them. I appreciate their friendship, knowledge and language skills.

Ludmila was an excellent housesitter.She looked after our two geese & house for eight days. She was friendly, accomplished, reliable, trustworthy & communicated with us on WhatsApp keeping us connected. Nothing was a problem for her, & nothing fazed her. On our return our home was impeccably clean as was the garden, the goose pond & houses etc. My plants both inside & out also were in good condition. Perfect home and dog sitters
We are very happy that Ludmila and her husband took care of our home and our dogs. They took great care of everything and always kept us informed about all important things. Upon arrival, we found a lovely and very tasty apple strudel as welcome and everything was in perfect order.
