I am retired widow and would love to experience living in other countries. I love traveling. I am Australian but I was born in Poland. I am honest, responsible, clean, hardworking and respectful of others.

I want to experience other cultures and lifestyles. I love animals and is my great pleasure to know by traveling I can support others.

I have two dogs which i love dearly (they will be cared for by our daughter when I am away).
I have many house sitting in Australia as well as o/seans.. After 5 years of house sitting I can say now i have an experience with rescued cats and dogs as well.

Best house sitter ever ????
Alicja stayed in our place for two weeks taking care of our cat and appartment. I could not imagine better choice. She immediately felt like a family, our cat loved her too and trusted her very quickly. Alicja kept us updated every day with hilarious videos and funny comments, she even made a birthday party for our cat as he turned one during her stay. I recommend Alicja to everyone who wants to have a peace of mind during holiday, I will definitely invite her again.

Huge Appreciation from SF Mahshid and Weldon
Alicja, Mahshid and I can't begin to thank you enough for the good fortune blessed upon us when we asked you to house sit and take care of our two furry kids, Roxy and Pippen. You brought so much energy, caring, and competency to the task. And as you know, when Roxy, our small Yorkie, took ill and had to be seen by emergency care, you handled the ordeal with no complaints. And having experienced it ourselves, we know how worrying and time consuming such an event takes from a person. But more than that was how much unsolicited care beyond expectations you extended by adjusting our dogs diet, cooking them back to health. It was also wonderful the day we spent around SF and meeting your daughter "Coco". Best wishes for you and Nichole this coming new year. If we ever find ourselves in Adelaide we will definite look you up and we hope you do the same if you ever find yourself in SF again. Best luck in all your adventures. Pet & Home sitter
Alicja is so much more than a pet sitter! She entertained, fed & cleaned up after my 2 cats for me for a month! She often sent me photos & updates. She kept my home cleaner than I left it, not to mention keeping my plants thriving. Alicja is very capable & independent. She even welcomed an unexpected relative for a few days! We had only met on Skype, & I'm so glad I found her!

Wonderful experience with Alicja!
Alicja sat for my fiancé and I while we were out of the country for just over the week, and I am so thrilled that we found Alicja! She communicated well with me before our sit began—we met over Skype for a tour and to introduce her to my kitties, TomTom and Freddie, and she followed up with prompt updates on her travel booking after we selected her. During our trip, she sent frequent updates on my boys and even alerted us when their dry food was running low. Alicja took great care of our home, brought in packages, watered droopy plants, and allowed us the peace of mind to travel without worrying about our sweet critters at home. I would love for Alicja to come back every time we travel!

Alicja & Nicole were the best housesitters I could have hoped for. I had the pleasure of meeting them both before leaving on my trip, and they immediately made me feel so safe and relieved to leave my house and cats in their care. They are both incredibly warm and kind and made me feel so at ease! I received daily updates with photos of Momo & Yuki, and could tell the cats were completely calm and happy spending time with Alicja & Nicole. Sadly, I had to return early from my trip due to COVID border closures, and Alicja & Nicole were so understanding about having to vacate 3 days early and I came back to my apartment even cleaner than I left it! I would have Alicja & Nicole housesit for me again in a heartbeat. In fact, I was disappointed I didn't get to see them and thank them in person when I returned due to having to go in to self-isolation. I highly recommend this pair to look after your home and pets - I am sure you couldn't find better housesitters.

We couldn’t have asked for better Housesitters
Alicja and Mario are some of the kindness and caring people that my husband and I have had the privilege of knowing. They watched our home, cat, and dog for two months while we were on a trip to Europe and Asia. From the first communication, we have felt at ease. They took care of our pets and our home as if it were their own. Mario is very handy around the house and even fixed several things we never anticipated. They are very tidy and organized as well. Three weeks into our trip, the unthinkable happened: our cat became ill. Alicja and Mario tried everything they could to help her (multiple vet visits, medications, etc). Unfortunately, she had reached the end of her life (she lived 20 wonderful years). They helped me FaceTime her to say goodbye, and stayed with her while the vet came to our home for the final time. If I couldn’t have been there for my beloved cat, I am glad that she was in their loving hands. Should these two wonderful people inquire about staying in your home, consider yourself fortunate, and take them up on it immediately! We have never been more pleased, or had more peace of mind while away from home.

Fantastic first experience on MMH
Alicja and Mario stayed in my house in Dora Creek, Australia for 5 weeks while I was overseas. I have 3 dogs and a cat and there was some general garden maintenance to be done. Communication was excellent at every stage, including regular updates on the animals and Alicja sending photos of any important letters that arrived. On returning, the house was immaculate, the garden well cared for and the animals all well and happy. Alicja had tidied the kitchen drawers, done washing and changed all the beds and Mario had even fixed my whipper snipper!There was a selection of cooked meals left in the freezer as well as milk, bread and a bottle of wine to welcome us home. I couldn't have expected more and as my first experience of house sitters I am now worried that future ones will never be as good!! Thank you both - I hope to see you again

I have been trying to persuade my husband to use a house sitting service for many years. He finally decided we'd give it a go. We registered our home and gave some information on our puppies and the beautiful region we live in. We received several responses and eventually chose Alicja and her husband Mario. Well, we not only had a wonderfully relaxing holiday overseas but returned to two very happy puppies who were not in the least bit stressed and actually seem to miss them when they left. To cap it off Alicja sent nightly updates on how they were and what they'd been up to on their walks around the lake and down to the beach etc. A bonus to us was Mario is a plumber and discovered a couple of taps were in need of some maintenance and just jumped right in and fixed them... how good is that. Alicja has a warm and friendly personality and quite clearly loves animals and has a gift with them. We could not have been more pleased with our experience of using house sitters and they will forever be our go to couple if we ever need them again. Thank you so much Alicja and Mario. Sincerely ... Alicja and Mario in Cheshire - UK
Alicja and Mario stayed in our house on and off over a period of 4 months, and looked after our property and our cat. The house was kept clean and tidy, the essential garden duties and running maintenance attended to and cuddly moments were spent with our little grey cat. They emailed us regularly during our absences regarding any mail received or relevant house or pet issues. They used the house-sit as a base for their European travel plans and we came home and went away again as our own holiday plans required. There were times when our periods of occupation overlapped during which we came to know each other better and enjoyed each other’s company. We recommended Alicja and Mario as reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitters – we miss them now they have departed and hope to meet up again with them someday.

Alicja and Mario in Edinburgh
It was a great pleasure to have Alicja and Mario in our home. Our dog was very happy with them, and if anything our house was in a better order when we returned than when we left! They are very personable and it was great to chat to them. We would be delighted to see them in Edinburgh again.
