About this sitter
I am a 35 year retiree of the teaching profession. I am a homeowner for 35 years and half of that time has been as an independent single woman. I have 2 grown children, and 1 cat as of now, but have owned another cat and dog until they were gone. I miss them. I am looking for time with the pets and hopefully would be able to provide some peace of mind to the owner while they are gone.
Why they want to house sit
Of course, (like everyone on this site)I love animals! If you combine that with my love for traveling, it seems like a no brainer. I know how stressful change is for a pet and hopefully I can ease that stress.
Their experience
I have pet sat on this sight once. I am a homeowner and a previous pet owner and hopefully with that comes the responsibility that would be advantageous to being experienced for this assignment. I watch my daughters mini golden doodle (my grand puppy), constantly. I might add - he loves me!
What can they bring to the assignment
As a previous pet owner and home owner, I will feed, walk and love your pets. I am happy to send photos to you, the homeowner while away. I am happy to do gardening if necessary as I have my own garden and love that! I am accumstomed to making decisions and dealing with whatever comes up-thirty five years of teaching has taught me well!

Linda and Bill watched our home and pets for 10 days recently. We loved working with them from start to finish. Awesome House Guests!
What can we say about Linda and Bill? They're awesome! We welcomed Linda and Bill into our home while we were on our honeymoon and we are so very glad we had them stay with our kitties. They were great with keeping in touch via text and email, sending us photos and updates to let us know they boys were being good and doing well. Our home was in better shape when we returned than when we left! They took fantastic care of our apartment and even left us some beautiful sunflowers for our return. They are thoughtful and reliable and we would not hesitate to have them back again in the future. We highly recommend them!

Terrific, Caring, and Trustworthy
Shortly before Linda was scheduled to take care of Giorgio he became ill. I won't lie that I was concerned about leaving Giorgio with people I only knew by email. We scheduled their trip to Faro so that Linda could get to know Giorgio while I was still at home. We had a delightful 24 hours and I knew when I left that Giorgio was in good hands. I received reassuring text and photos while I was away and I returned to a pet who had been well cared for. I would not think twice about having Linda back.
