About this sitter
We are two enterprising pensioners who like to experience new. We are Marion (a former housekeeper) and Annemarie (a former commercial artist). We like travelling around the world.
Why they want to house sit
We want to get to know your country and the everyday life there.
And we love to get to know people and their pets.

in England (a flat with a lovely cat)
in Switzerland (a house with two charming dogs)
in the Netherlands (a flat with two cuddly cats)
in Donegal one time two Labradors and than two Border Collies,
In Northern Catalonia, three large dogs, a cat and chickens in an enchanting Finca,
In Malaga a beautiful old town house with lots of plants
What can they bring to the assignment
We like to do DIY and are skilled with our hands. We like gardening and are fond of animals.
We have driving licenses for cars with manual gearshift.
We are non-smokers.
We are reliable, tidy, caring and honest.

The Very Best Pet and House Sitters!
In March of 2023, I scheduled a pet sitter to stay at our apartment while we were on a 5 day vacation at the end of May. I contacted the sitter to reconfirm everything two weeks before the trip. The sitter rather nonchalantly told me that she had to cancel. I was panicked trying to find a new sitter in such a small window of time. Annemarie Machmer and Marion Kratzsch to the rescue! They responded to my last minute request and we could not be more pleased and thankful for them!!! They arrived on time and took fabulous care of our two fur babies, sent photos, too! They also brushed their fur and took them on lovely walks. Furthermore, our apartment was spotlessly clean when we got home--Even cleaner than when we left it! I can't wait for them to come back again, even just for a visit. I thank them both from the bottom of my heart and want them to know how honored we have been to get to know them. Big hugs to them both!!!
