About this sitter
We are an german couple looking for house sitting opportunities around the world. We love spending time with animals, as this is how it´s been all our life. Growing up on the German countryside, we mostly encountered cats, dogs, chickens and ducks. Now travelling the globe, we feel home wherever an animal greets & welcomes us.
Since we are working online while house sitting, a steady internet connection is pretty important to us. In exchange, we are present at your property most of the time and can cuddle and take care of the given responsibilities. :)

Best way to experience a new culture, learn a new language and get to know the real locals
Their experience
We have experience in house sitting in Europe, Asia, Southern America and Afrika and take good care of animals, as we both grew up around them. Mostly chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. Cuddles and play-times are of course included :)
We are also fast learners and adapt very quick and very easily.
What can they bring to the assignment
Lots of care, knowledge as a mechanical engineer and experience in managing hotels as well as writing, art, imagination and lots of good ideas.

Joy to have around
Theresa and Lothar were so fun to hang out with, we all wished they stayed a little bit longer. In fact, they took such good care of the cats that the boys were completely ignoring us when we came back. Communicating with them was a breeze, they are thoughtful (thank you again for the salsas and a bakery haul :)), very tidy and left the house in a better state than it was originally. It felt like we knew each other for ages and we would absolutely love to have them again!

Theresa and Lothar - two charming, responsible housesitters
Theresa and Lothar, there was an immediate connection. They are both so charming and we felt, with their experience around housessitting, nothing can go wrong. Life can be extremely easy, if you find housesitters like them. They arrive and you can go. So much of a posive impact to our holiday. Truly an advantage. The only thing is, we wanted to spend more time with them :-) On topp of their reliability, came their very good and sweet connection with our cats and other animals. The kept close contact and the house and animals were just fine and seem to be happy as well. In addition to all of what Theresa and Lothar represent, they even treated us to wonderful homemade jam and other goodies. And, you still can topp this with wonderful saussages made by Lothar himself. Henning is still druling, because he liked them so much. In a nutshell: Theresa and Lothar are the best house- an petsitters you can get! You don't need to look further. They are topp shelf pick. We wish them all the best and, please come back often!

The perfect house sitters
Theresa and Lothar are excellent house sitters, who went beyond our expectations. They perfectly fitted in our “little zoo” and took great care of our pets while we were abroad. Our dog was even a bit depressed when he noticed that they left, looking for them all over the place. Kudos for the new dog toy made of Lothar’s socks (already stolen and chewed by our dog). Also the apartment was in a perfect state and totally clean when we went back, maybe even better than when we left. Such a relief. Finally, we had the opportunity to spend some time altogether and there are excellent human beings with whom we had a great time sharing. We definitely hope to have them sit for us again.

Amazing cat sitters
Tes and Lothar were the absolute best cat sitters. They took very good care of our 2 cats for a week while we were on holiday. Very friendly couple, easy communication, neat and tidy. They sent us daily updates and photos of the cats, which we really appreciated. Upon our return, we found our house clean and tidy, our cats were happy and relaxed, they even had cooked food for us. Highly recommended!

In the confused times of Corona, Lothar and Teresa came to me at short notice as cat-sitters, because they and I needed a break from everyday life. Before that we already had an active and very nice contact via WhatsApp, where we were immediately on the same wavelength in my eyes. The two of them came the evening of the day before I left. We had a funny evening with very good entertainment and the two tried to remember all names and characteristics of the cats immediately, which is not easy with 11 cats ???? they are very fond of animals and are really interested in the animals in the household, which I immediately noticed positively. The next day I went on holiday with a good feeling. Lothar carried my bags into the car and even tightened the wheel nuts! During my absence I got regular information and pictures about the cats, which took good care of them. When I came back after 1 week, the flat was very clean, the used bedclothes already washed and hung up, the cat toilets cleaned and the cats already fed. I would take them as cat-sitters again any time! Thank you again for stepping in at such short notice!

Perfect house sitters, highly recommended
from the very first contact we had a good feeling about Tes and Lothar. we got to know them as experienced sitters, who took great care for our place. at their arrival they have shown serious interest for our house and the tasks of the sit. one could see, it was not their first house sit and they knew to ask the right questions. during our absence they stayed in contact with us and sent us information about important letters and other meaningful things. they behaved very responsible when storm was announced and stored tables and decorations in the house to avoid any damage. when we came back the flowers looked great, the house was clean and they had cooked a delicious dish for us for next lunch - what a charming idea. Tes and Lothar did an excellent job and we can highly recommend them. ps: dear Tes and Lothar, remember, you are always welcome back!
