Hello there!
We are Ashanti and Isabella, a charismatic and friendly couple on a mission to see the world. And what better way than to live like locals, giving sweet loves to pets??

Isabella currently works remotely as a Revenue Manager for a startup hospitality company. And Ashanti spent years working as an educator/youth advocate, but is currently focusing on computer programming/software development. (With a bit of online teaching).

When we aren't tapping away at our remote jobs, we enjoy cooking together to the epic sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire, tending to a garden, taking our time to soak in our surroundings over a cup of tea, cuddles with fur babies, long walks on the beach (forest, city, mountains, farmland, meadow...) and much much more! We are looking for a home away from home, to give respect and love to a place (and its inhabitants) as if it were our own.

Why they want to house sit

We are active yet laid-back people who will put a lot of love into your home and pets / plants. We enjoy housesitting for the grounding responsibilities that it comes with - caring for someone's home/fur-babies - and for the new change of pace. It allows us to experience a new place through a resident's perspective. It's priceless!

Our previous experiences housesitting/pet sitting have opened opportunities to experience a wide-range of climates, cultures, cuisines, residential communities, and hilarious pet personalities. We know how important pets are, and knowing that we can't currently have our own on the road, we love the opportunity to get to know and give care to someone else's sweet animals!

Their experience

We have previous experience housesitting locally and globally, and have experienced beautiful and varying places - like the buzz and liveliness of a big American city, or the calmness and tranquility of a small pueblo in Mexico - while also caring for someone's beautiful home, adorable pets, luscious gardens, and helping tend to their AirBnB business on property.

Ashanti has experience in basic carpentry from previous Habitat for Humanity projects. We both enjoy pouring love into an herb garden. Additionally, we both have house-sat for friends, family, neighbors, etc. and can provide great references.

What can they bring to the assignment

We understand handing over the keys to your home is a big responsibility, but you can rest assured that we will bring respect, peace of mind, and a hardworking mentality to the assignment. We are happy to communicate with you as often as you need, and send you pictures of your cute pets doing funny things (we housesat for a family whose dog had the best poses while sleeping :) ).
