About this sitter

Hello! I'm a non-smoking, semi-retired female writer & editor seeking a pleasant housesitting gig, ideally in the US or UK, for up to a month or so. Holiday opportunities are welcome. I'm happy to care for dogs (former Belgian sheepdog owner) but please no cats due to allergies.

Why they want to house sit

I've always enjoyed housesitting for friends and now, with retirement looming, I'm hoping to use this time to become a professional housesitter. It's a way for me to explore new places as well as finish my novel, between taking superb care of your home. It's a bonus if there's a dog to watch as I've missed not having one!

Yes, I am experienced, having housesat/dogsat for many friends over the years. In addition I am highly responsible, neat and caring.

What can they bring to the assignment

I will care for your home (and dog, if applicable) as if it's my own. I don't smoke, and tend to be obsessively neat and tidy!
