About this sitter

Originally from the U.S., we are a husband and wife who live in El Retiro, Colombia. We're devoted pet owners who love our friends' dogs as much as our own! Former experience with animal care -- in Boquete, Panama, ( our previous home location ) in the local animal rescue organization and we have volunteered with Panama's most successful spay/neuter clinic, helping with the recovery of cats and dogs after surgery.

Our years of home ownership, plus our time living aboard and sailing our own 42-foot boat, have given us plenty of experience with maintenance and upkeep. We have also owned and managed rental properties with tenants. We can handle routine maintenance and light repairs, and we'll keep your garden ship-shape. We're honest, organized and reliable, and we'd be happy to provide copies of full and clean FBI background checks upon request.

John and Susan took care of our beloved Norfolk Terrier for an entire month when we were out of the country. Not only did they do a terrific job but they even sent pictures to show how much fun Teddy was having with his surrogate parents. I cannot recommend them too highly as they are loving, organized and meticulous.
