Hello. My name is Mary and I am an Irish artist who loves animals. Whether in Ireland or further afield, I would welcome the chance to experience new surroundings, hang out with some new animal pals and maybe even find some creative inspiration.
I love getting to live in different places, especially since my primary home is a small, suburban flat. I'm a big fan of nature and the great outdoors, and I really enjoy the company of animals.
Yes. I have cared for dogs, cats and chickens through this site. You can view my testimonials as part of my profile. I have also worked as a full time dog walker through a company called Dog Walkers Dublin last summer. http://dogwalkersdublin.com/. I have also owned two dogs, a cat and a house rabbit of my own over the years so I have plenty of experience with their day to day care. With regards to looking after your property I have previously lived as a property guardian with Camelot Europe here in Dublin so your home will be in safe hands .
I am a trustworthy person who loves animals, big or small, and I can offer the highest standard of care. I am happy to adhere to whatever routines the animals are accustomed to and to keep you updated as often as you require. As a property guardian I also have plenty of experience looking after vacant buildings and keeping them clean, safe and in good order. I also have my own car. I look forward to hearing from you.

I couldn't recommend Mary more. She is a fantastic conscientious and considerate housesitter who went above and beyond during her stay at our house. Her kind and caring nature toward our animals was clear from the start and gave me peace of mind during our time away, knowing they were being looked after so well. Mary also had to deal with an unexpected pet illness the night before she arrived as one of our dogs picked the worst possible time to get sick. Not only did Mary pick up the little pooch from the vet for us, she nursed her back to health while we were away, gave her antibiotics and special food. She gave us regular updates how Ziggy was doing and made what could have been a complicated situation very easy for us. We were so lucky to have her there. She was brilliant for keeping in touch, sending us pics of the animals and was really responsive and responsible. She also watered all the plants and the house was spotlessly clean when we got home too. Quite simply, she was a dream and we would welcome her back any time.
I must say that I was very tempted to leave a dreadful review for Mary - but only so we could keep her all to ourselves! Mary was amazing with our dog, Juno. Juno is a big, 40kg dobermann/lab cross who demands continuous attention and affection, all of which Mary provided by the bucket-load! Mary was totally unfazed by Juno's size or by the fact that she went into heat within days of us leaving. She looked after her so well that I will never again contemplate another minder as long as Mary is available. Mary also minded our house perfectly well, as well as my plants. She is extremely affable, honest, trustworthy and transparent. We had previously been messed around by several potential minders, but once I began communicating with Mary, I instantly knew that I wanted her to mind Juno, before even meeting her. Juno is my best friend and my shadow (or maybe I'm hers!), and I knew that she was in the very best of hands while I was away for a month. I can't recommend Mary enough. I will 100% use her again in the future if she is available.
When Mary applied to housesit and look after my fluffy feline I knew instantly she would be the one. And how grateful I am. When I left, after 40 min, my car faked an injury, and I had to come back home for a night. Wine, laughs, talks, exchanging stories and sharing the appreciation of the arts, writers, poets, books and brainpickings. Mary is a gem in every possible way. As a person and as a house- and cat sitter. I felt utterly safe leaving my much beloved Her Ladyship of the most enviable tail and my cottage in the hands of Mary and her boyfriend Rob, whom I didn't get to meet, but was claimed to be a cat-whisperer. And I have no doubt this is to be true. They updated me with video's of a purring happy, calm and content cat (and she isn't always!) Furthermore, my cat was so pleased with her staff hire that she hid half their stuff so they'll have to come back and pick it up another time and stay a little longer. Thank you so much from Her Ladyship 'Misar' and me. We look forward to see you again!
You cannot go wrong w/ choosing Mary as your housesitter/dogsitter/air bnb co-host. Mary took care of our dog, home, and all of our air bnb guests (cleaning, checking in, breakfast, etc) for 3 weeks while we were away. She checked in and sent us pictures of our dog which was really appreciated. Our dog fell in love with her and she drew a portrait of him as a present for us which was so nice of her. When we came home, we found our house even cleaner than it was when we left. We can't stress enough how reliable Mary is, we recommend her to everyone.
