About this sitter

First of all, we have been vaccinated against the Covid virus, so able to travel as required. We are retired, responsible, non-smoking, active couple that have experience house sitting in various parts of the world.  When we are not on a house sitting assignment we professionally dog sit in our own home.

We prefer engagements of a month or more, with or without pets, and very good with household pets since we professionally dog sit off of the Rover web site.   Our maturity and home ownership is a strong asset we bring to you as we care for your property. We have never had a police action against us and enjoy a very high credit score indicating our responsible financially. We own my own home, and have no other debt that needs to be service and enjoy travel benefits as part of our retirement. When we commit to being at you home on a certain date, you can count on us being there so you can plan your travel without worrie.

Why they want to house sit

We are retired and enjoy traveling. Our reason for traveling is to enjoy and discover different cultures while meeting the people of local population. We have had our own home for all of our adult life and have become very handy should difficulties arise, so we know how to handle home issues should they arise. We have travel benefits from our retirement so we can by air to anywhere in the world, so if we commit to be your house sitter, we will be there and you can rest assured that your home will be treated like our own.

Their experience

In addition to owning our own home, we have been housesitting for over 6 years many places in the USA and Canada. Our international house sitting assignment have been in the countries of Austriala, Fiji, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Germany New Zealand, and Hungry. 2020 was a year with only minimal assignments, but we recently received our COVID-19 vaccination and are ready to move forward with new assignments. We make every attempt to learn the language and customs of the country we visit and have been able to satisfy our hosts with our flexibility and care.

Certainly our experience in home ownership, as an owner of pets and as professional dog sitters. We have lived and worked around all kind of domesticated animals from cats, dogs, birds, and some farm animals, chickens, horses and cattle. We will treat your property as own and take care of any pets left in our watch. We are walkers so walking dogs daily is what we enjoy doing whenever possible. Honesty and well rounded experience is what we offer for your peace of mind while you are away.
