About this sitter

Robin is a consultant/instructor in the Information Technology industry. Vicky Jo has a PhD in Depth Psychology and is a professor at an online university, teaching Masters-level students, and is the Senior Editor for a Jungian journal published in Los Angeles. She is also working on writing several books as well as running training courses. We both use online webinar technology to conduct most of our business, so we are at home most of the time. We are both in our mid-60s with no children, no pets of our own, and we're non-smokers. We have our own car.

Why they want to house sit

I'm semi-retired and my wife has recently finished her PhD in psychology, so we have more freedom of movement nowadays. We want to see more of the world, but we want to do it in a relaxed, non-rushed way. House-sitting for several weeks at a time gives us a chance to truly absorb the culture and explore it thoroughly.

We have been sitting continuously since January 2019, minding three cats in Scotland; a dog and a cat in Wales; a dog in Dorset; two dachshunds in Germany; a dog in Montpellier; a cat in Barcelona; a dog in Andalusia; a dog in Doncaster; 2 cats near Liverpool; 2 young dogs in Bristol; an old Bernese Mountain dog in Chippenham; plus dozens of others. We have lots of experience walking dogs, grooming dogs and cats, keeping houses tidy, and providing peace of mind for you while you are away from your fur babies. We think of ourselves as a doting aunt and uncle for your pets, making sure they are well looked after and showered with affection. We love having "slumber parties" with our temporary four-legged nieces and nephews (so long as they are allowed on the bed). What can they bring to the assignment

We are both mature, reliable people who work quietly from home, thereby providing 24-hour occupancy of the home most of the time. We have nearly a hundred 5-star reviews from satisfied homeowners and we are often called back for repeat sits. We are both introverts, so we would not be hosting any parties.
We are both double-vaccinated against covid and have had all our booster shots.
