Our names our Chelsey Schultz and Dylan Datloff. We are 25-year-old digital nomads who would love the opportunity to take care of your home, cats, and dog. Currently, we are both working online, so we will be working from home as long as we have a stable internet connection. Chelsey works as a copywriter; and Dylan works as a music producer, audio engineer, and copy editor. We are non-smokers and highly active. We love taking long walks, exploring new places, and spending time cuddled up with pets.
We are travel enthusiasts who really enjoy taking care of animals. Both of us were raised with animals in our homes, and it is what sparked our love of taking care of them on the road. House sitting for us is a chance to explore the world with all the comforts of a home as well as a stable place for us to work. We love the ability to be able to complete our jobs from anywhere and then have the opportunity to explore new places. We are not tourist trap people but love the chance to explore a new location-based from a community.
Both Chelsey and Dylan grew up with animals in their homes and loved taking care of them. Dylan grew up taking care of cats in his home; Chelsey grew up with cats and dogs too. As well, Chelsey frequently took care of her neighbors' animals, which included: goats, chickens, ducks, llamas, dogs, and cats. Chelsey has completed many successful pet sittings around the world. This includes:
1. Florida, USA: 2 house cats and 1 neighborhood heron.
2. Kings Langley, UK: 1 Golden Doodle and 2 Burmese cats.
3. Liscannor, Ireland: 1 Bernese Mountain Dog, 1 Golden Retriever, 1 Tabby cat, and 4 chickens.
4. Washington, USA: 1 German Sheppard, 3 Cocker Spaniels, 2 Tabby cats, 2 Scottish Fold kittens, and 1 Beta fish. (Multiple House Sits)
Last winter, Dylan was able to finally join Chelsey in her travels, and together they have completed:
1. Qualicum Beach, Canada: 1 old Tabby cat.
2. Texas, USA: 2 dogs, 1 Pyrenees and 1 Beagle.
3. Oregon, USA: 1 Tabby cat
4. Nevada, USA: 1 Dachshund and 1 Mixed Small dog
5. Los Cocos, Argentina: 1 Rhodesian Ridgeback, 1 Drentse Patrijshond, and 1 Mixed former street dog.
Soon we will be heading to Argentina for another dog sitting!
We are both experienced pet sitters who love to shower endless love to all pets. We are kind, patient, and energetic sitters who will give the best care possible to your animals. Constant pets, love, and exercise are all a part of the package with us.
Also: Chelsey has experience with medicine distribution to pets if needed. As well, Chelsey has a green thumb. Her family owns a flower shop, so she has been taking care of plants for a long time. She will easily be able to care for your house plants.
As well, we are timely and organized people. We will make sure that your mail is collected, your trash is taken out, and any other household chores that need completion will be done on time. We are clean, non-smokers, who would prefer to be cuddled up with pets at night instead of out on the town. We are thoughtful and will make sure that your home and animals are kept in tip-top condition until your return.

Chelsey and Dylan came to care for our two dogs and house while we travelled for 3 weeks. It was tough trying to decide on the right sitter without meeting anyone in person, but I am so glad I went with these two! I felt like I could fully trust them as soon as we met, and the dogs took to them immediately. One of our dogs (beagle mix) is getting old, blind, and grumpy, which can be difficult to deal with. The other is a 75lb Great Pyrenees mix who can be a little unpredictable on walks around other dogs, so I was a bit nervous about leaving her with people unfamiliar with her tendencies. After going on a walk with the dogs together and trying to give them all the advice and information I could, Chelsey and Dylan were very calm and reassuring that they could handle it all :) Everything went fine, and they checked in and sent updates regularly. It was very reassuring seeing photos of the dogs completely relaxed and happy - like they didn't even care we were gone ;) I would definitely recommend Chelsey and Dylan for other house/petsitting jobs. It really is such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands, AND get to stay at home where they are most comfortable!
Chelsey house/cat sat for us for almost a month. Chelsey is responsible, trustworthy and mature and we left our house and dear cat Olive confidently in her care. Olive is a picky, shy and elderly cat with kidney issues, so medication needed to be given. Chelsey had no problem administering her meds. Chelsey stayed in contact with us via email and text message and we were treated to regular photos of Olive. If there was any issue with the house she would immediately contact us to quickly resolve any problems. Chelsey is proven to be trustworthy and willing to keep your home as you would expect and we would highly recommend her for any of your pet and house sitting needs. FYI: We didn't check off the lawncare box as it was winter when Chelsey house sat for us. She did however look after our indoor plants very well.
Chelsey came to mind our beloved animals for a week in September while we were on holidays and I can not say enough good things about her. Chelsey settled in immediately to the house and the animals routines, it felt as if she had been there forever and so I felt very comfortable leaving her there in our absences. As pet sitters go we could not ask for anymore than she did. She kept in touch with us regularly sending us updates by phone and I our animals actually missed her after she left!! I would have not hesitation to recommend Chelsey for any sitting jobs in the future and would also love to have her back with us!
We Loved chelsey's bio about herself and her other pet sitting adventures so we jumped at the chance to take her on with looking after our Dog, Henry and Burmese cats, Ruby and Monty. We picked her up at the airport a few days before we went away so we could show her around the house and to get to know our pets. What struck us about Chelsey was how friendly and charming she was. Always smiling and willing to help with the pets or even helping us get ready for dinner. Our pets took to her so quickly which was great to see as it's so important for someone new to have a rapport with them. We knew from the moment we met her that our house and pets were in very good hands. When we were away she always kept us updated as to how our pets were and where she had gone to walk our dog. The other great thing about Chelsey is that she loves hiking and running so Henry got plenty of long walks. when we returned from holiday our pets looked amazing, healthy happy and vibrant exactly how we left them. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Chelsey and she even familiarised herself with UK driving as we insured her on our car. we were so happy we chose Chelsey, she was amazing and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to anyone as a house/pet sitter
Chelsey did a fantastic job of keeping our fur babies content while we were away! We have two cats; a 22 year old female indoor(only) orange tabby and a 13 year old indoor/outdoor male Maine Coon mix. Our elderly tabby is completely deaf and needs a fair amount of love and attention. She's often confused in the night, gets stressed, shakes and makes a heck of a racket for no reason - she just needs some love then she goes back to sleep. Chelsey knew how to take care of her and calm her back down. She was quick to train Chelsey to where the treats are kept also! Our Maine Coon is an independent boy who likes you to sit and have your morning coffee on the porch before he checks out the neighborhood. He does come back for his regular meals and extra lap time in the afternoon. We do require that he does have to be locked in at night so the foxes don’t try to eat him. He is also very quick to train the caretakers on his treats as well! Some of the other things that Chelsey did while house/pet sitting: pick up our mail, light cleaning around the house, water our houseplants, and give treats to our resident Great Blue Heron. Our bayou neighborhood has a heron who has trained us all to feed him. We trained her like he trained us. Once he's familiar with you he will come near the porch to let you know he's ready for you to feed him: she would walk down to our dock to throw him small pieces of meat; throw stale bread into the water so that the fish would come close to the surface and he could fish for them himself; or she would put chicken carcasses into our pin fish trap and feed him the fish that were caught. By the time we returned, our heron would run after her down the dock because he knew she would make sure he got some treats. Chelsey was a kind and wonderful sitter, my cats really loved her. Even my cranky elderly tabby grew to love her. She was patient and with her online job she was able to keep a close eye on them and provide lots of snuggles. She kept our home clean and neat; it was in top shape when we returned. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation to Chelsey; she loves animals and they in turn love her.
Chelsey Schultz has taken care of my rather large house and eight pets in the past and I am pleased to report she will be on site here August 1st through 8th while my husband and I are fishing in Alaska. Chelsey has remarkable common sense and lifelong companion animal experience, along with an outstanding education.....all of which adds up to a worry-free vacation for me.
