About this sitter
Hi!
We are Nat and Laurent, a responsible couple in our forties and fifties, from Germany and Belgium. We currently live in Hamburg and have previously lived in London and Brussels before we started our own business. We enjoy traveling the world and working from abroad. During the past couple of years, we traveled extensively in South East Asia and Europe.
We love all kinds of animals and have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits and horses. I owned a horse and several cats for around 16 years and Laurent has always owned dogs. We are both fit and enjoy sports, hiking, SUP, swimming and cycling. We speak English, German and French. We are non smokers.
Why they want to house sit
We love exploring new places and cultures and with house-sitting we can combine our love for animals with our passion for traveling. We both grew up with pets and we love spending time with animals.
We are both working from our laptops so we are generally flexible regarding the place and length of stay. We can work from anywhere with a good Wi-Fi connection. We can make regular breaks to spend time with the pets, play with them, go for walks etc.
Their experience
We have extensive experience in house-sitting, including the care of various pets:
- Since August 2018, we regularly house-sit for a friendly dog and a lovely cat in London (over 20 times: the first time was arranged through MindMyHouse; since then, the owner has contacted us directly. The last one was in March and April 2026).
- Since June 2021, we also regularly care for four dogs in Switzerland (June/July 2021, June/July 2022, April 2023, Oct./Nov. 2024 and June/July 2025). Again, the first time was arranged through MindMyHouse; since then, the owner has contacted us directly.
- In June 2024, we looked after two cats in Manchester, UK.
- In August 2024, we cared for two cats and two guinea pigs in Belgium.
- In July 2020, we house-sat in Bavaria, Germany, looking after two delightful cats, also via MindMyHouse.
In addition, before registering on Mind-My-House, we had already house-sat many times for friends and family: We were taking care of a lovely cat in the south of France for a friend of ours, and we are very regularly sitting Laurent’s mother dog. We also took care several times of my sister-in-law’s house in Belgium. We are very clean, tidy and reliable. We don't smoke.

Natascha and Laurent took care of our house and 2 cats in Munich, Germany for a period of 3 weeks. Both listened carefully to our instructions, executed reliable, and acted super responsible (one of our cats has epilepsy and needs medication twice per day). While we were on vacation Natascha and Laurent sent us regular updates on WhatsApp so that we knew everything went well. When we returned home everything was in order: the house as clean or even cleaner than we left it, the cats healthy and happy. The garden and all plants in perfect condition. We could not have asked for more and highly recommend Natascha and Laurent for your next house sit!
