About this sitter
We are a couple from the Netherlands, in our end-30, no kids and looking for house sits. Our friends and family describe us as trustworthy, friendly, responsible, reliable, tidy, caring, friendly and big nature and animal lovers. We are searching for houses preferably within nature and animals are a great plus! We speak French (she) and English (both) fluently (and Dutch of course) and a bit of Spanish and German
Why they want to house sit
It gives us an opportunity to see other places, be in different environments and preferably have animals around us. It is what makes us happy and having the opportunity then to also make others happy with taking care of their houses (and animals) seems a win-win to us
Their experience
Yes, we have previous house-sit experiencies. Also Paul, as a certified dog traininer, has lots of experience with dogs. We've had dogs, cats, rabbits, a horse, goats, guineau pigs, chicken and ducks on our own so we know how to take care of animals.
What can they bring to the assignment
Paul is a certified dog trainer and dogs love him. He is also keeping our own garden, growing vegetables and fruits so also gardening will not be a problem.
Jolanda has grown up with loads of animals around her. She has taken care of goats, a pony, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, turtles, dogs and cats so enough experience there. Jolanda speaks fluent French and we both speak English fluently.
We are well-educated, friendly, tidy, responsible and reliable people and we will take care of the house and animals as if it was our own.

A a reliable friendly animal loving couple
Paul & Jolanda came to sit our farmhouse, our 4 dogs and 4 cats for a period of roughly two weeks in January. Due to agendas we only got to meet Paul personally. The contact with both Paul and Jolanda via WhatsApp and Email was very easy and they felt like the right choice for us from the get-go. Upon meeting Paul on the evening before our departure we felt at ease with leaving the house and the animals in their care. While we were on vacation we got regular updates via WhatsApp about everything that happened back at home. Paul and Jolanda had to leave a day before we actually returned home so we didn’t get to say Goodbye personally. However, we found happy dogs & cats and they left everything tidy. If you are looking for reliable people who will love your animals like their own, Paul and Jolanda are a great choice for you!

Perfect cat sitter!
Jolanda was the perfect cat / house sitter. She stayed in my house for almost a week and watched my cat while on was on holiday. It was super easy to communicate with her, she replied really quickly every time. She’s a very lovely, very caring person. She kept me updated all throughout my trip which was really lovely of her. Paul and Jolanda had all the qualities you would hope for in people looking after your home and pets, responsible, respectful and clearly very warm and loving people that will look after you pets with great care. It was a pleasure meeting Paul and Jolanda, we had a lot in common and enjoyed a vegan meal together the night before our departure. Communication was excellent whilst we were away and they went above and beyond to help us with some practical matters we couldn't deal with whilst out the country. Returning home to freshly picked wild flowers and lovely clean and cared for home was such a treat, can't recommend this couple more highly if you would like to enjoy a care free trip knowing your home is in good hands.
