About this sitter
We are Colin and Ann, late 60's and very young in heart and mind!! We have used this site to find sitters for our beloved pets with great results and now it's time to use it the other way. We love to travel and visit new places and love being with cats and dogs. Ann is now retired and Colin works on projects when he wants so we now have a lot of available time to do this. Born and raised in the UK, and living in Florida for the past 30 plus years, we can fit in anywhere!

Why they want to house sit
We love to visit different cities, and countries and live like locals. On several occasions we have swapped our house with one in another country and it has been wonderful. We also love the company of animals, cats, dogs and birds mainly and at present have two very beloved cats of our own that we use this site to find sitters for.
Their experience
Very experienced with cats, dogs and small birds. Have owned many over the years and taken care of friends' pets in our house when they travel.
What can they bring to the assignment
Colin is an experienced carpenter with his own business for many years and is able to take care of most problems that could come up as far as maintenance of a property. Ann is a lover of plants (love my orchids) and can take care of the maintenance of the garden or any indoor plants. We would give the animals immense amounts of love and care as that is what we want for our pets when we are away.

Lovely people
Ann and Colin are lovely people, who took excellent care of our cat, Toby. It’s so great when you know you have someone who understands and loves cats (in this case) and whom you can trust to be attentive to their needs. Peace of mind whilst away.
Ann and Colin came to house sit for our 4 dogs, no easy task, and were well received by the pooches and seemed to fit easily into the role of house and pet sitters. Attentive and well organised we were able to leave our home comforted by the fact that the house and dogs were in good, capable hands. On our return we were pleased to find everything was as we left it and Ann cooked a lovely meal for us to enjoy. It is fair to say they would be welcome back at any time in the future. Highly recommend them
It was a pleasure to have Ann and Colin to stay. Only a brief sit whilst we visited Brighton for a few days for a friend's wedding but it fitted in nicely with their travel plans. Our 3 girls took to them straight away and we had reports that they were all being very good. Ann and Colin fitted right in and were very amenable. The house was lovely and tidy on our return. We would highly recommend them and would definitely use again if the opportunity arose.

Welcome back anytime
Ann was here at our house by herself this time. And from the time she walked into the house till the moment she left, it felt like we’ve known her forever. She is very good at paying attention to detail. Amazing with Cheesecake, our cat, who normally is shy around strangers - she won him over so quickly! We entered into our first ever sit home sit with trepidation but Ann and Colin were great from the start. We had a a WhatsApp conversation where they got to see Maui and we were able to discuss the logistics from an early stage. Ann and Colin arrived exactly when they said they would and left the house in exactly the same manner as it was when we left. They even left us some milk in the fridge. You honestly wouldn’t have know they were even there. Maui seems to have had a great time and has not been affected at all by us going away which is a testament to Ann and Colin. We hope that Ann and Colin had as great a time as we had on our holiday and wish them well in the future. Thanks again!

Kitty lovers!
Ann and Colin stayed in our home for 10 days over Thanksgiving Break. They are lovely people, and we enjoyed chatting with Ann over dinner before our trip. With three cats of their own at home, we knew our kitties were in good hands. They got all the love and snuggles - thanks for the cute pictures! We appreciated their great communication before and during the housesit, and they left our home super tidy after their stay. We couldn't have asked for a better house sitter than Ann. She took wonderful care of the house and our cats. She was reliable, responded quickly to messages and left the place absolutely spotless.
