About this sitter
We are a happy go lucky husband and wife currently living in Brisbane Qld , Australia. We retired in April 2024 from long distance truck driving and keen to take some time to resume our travels and house sits.
Our last house sit was 8 months in Vanuatu caring for an elderly Staffy and an adorable Cat. This was such a rewarding housesit and we formed a very strong relationship with the animals. We also experienced 4 cyclones during our stay in Vanuatu, 2 Category 3's, 1 Category 4 and a Category 5. The Category 5 caused a lot of damage and required a lot of work from us to get back to normal. Pre Covid we spent 12 months in South America where I (Lynne) was teaching English in Peru and during our time in Panama. We did two house sits whilst in Panama. (See testimonials). The first housesit in Panama had 3 adorable dogs and cats. The second housesit had 3 wonderful dogs, one with skin issues that needed his walks before sun up and after sun down. The other two dogs loved to dig for crabs in the sand. (never actually caught one).
We have also done house sits in Australia for family and friends, looking after property, various animals, garden, lawn and house maintenance.
We are both non-smokers, active, have an eye for detail, very clean and tidy, not afraid of hard work, love animals and enjoy immersing ourselves in the local culture.
We will be available from April 2024 for short and long stays and prepared to travel anywhere in the world dependent on visas, covid and flight availability.

Why they want to house sit
We enjoy being able to house sit as it is a way for us to help out with animals etc whilst people are away and it is a way for us to stay in places longer and enjoy what your area has to offer.

We have done short and long term house sits in Australia and in Vanuatu and Panama. (Refer testimonials and references) We have Experience on farms and have had many animals throughout of lives and love spending times with them. We don't feel that any animal will be a problem to look after with the correct instructions for all their needs.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are honest, reliable, and will do everything that is required of us. We will put the animals needs and the house & property as a priority. We are clean people, non smokers and will leave your home very clean and tidy. We are both very handy and have renovated our own property.

House Sitters Extraodinaire!!
Lynn and her husband, Jim, were , very simply, THE BEST. The arrived as promised, took fantabulous care of the fur babies - three of them - and took care of the house and grounds. Jim made repairs to items that had been put on the "to do" list and that was welcomed. Lynn wanted to completely redo the garden, but Jim reined her in - I wish he had given her free rein. The dogs were walked as requested daily and Lynn even cooked for them to supplement their regular dog food - said they needed some variety. Lynn and Jim had them returning home after beach runs in record time - because if not, they didn't receive a treat. I highly recommend them and most emphatically will use them any time they want to return to Panama!!

Lynette and Jim very kindly came on short notice as our sitter had to leave unexpectedly without much notice. They were about to start a sit in another part of the country, but traveled to our home for a week until we could find longer term sitters who were available. Lynette gave us a full report of the animal and house condition, as well as medication and food count. She managed to get assistance to fix a broken pipe in the laundry room and kept in touch regularly throughout the week. Jim had to go back and start their other housesit but then he returned to pick her up at the end of the week. Lynette was able to welcome our new sitters and give them the routine. We are so grateful to this wonderful and caring and capable couple. Anyone who has them will have peace of mind that their house and pets are cared for.
