About this sitter
I am a single guy in my forties. I enjoy travelling and I love [most] animals so petsitting has been a wonderful discovery. I realised some time ago that traditional 9-5 jobs are not my cup of tea; I now only work to fund my travelling (I have visited almost eighty countries so far) and am slowly trying to become location independent.
I am quiet, laid-back, responsible, and respectful.
Why they want to house sit
I am not ashamed to admit that the main appeal of housesitting for me is that it offers an inexpensive way to visit places that I may not ordinarily have been able to experience. It's an added bonus that I also get some furry companions to keep me company.

Adam was a star
Adam was a star. Super chill and very self-sufficient. He took care of a few things I needed done on arrival and sent photos and reported on the cats when they visited. They have been wayward children lately, possibly eating and sleeping elsewhere for the past two weeks, so Adam did not have much time with them. He did manage to entice them to sleep inside which was an achievement. The house was perfectly clean when I got home, all in order. I truly enjoyed getting to know him a bit when we finally met in person then. He has some great stories of both sitting and travel experiences. He's an easy choice as a sitter, and I also recommend spending some time over a meal together!

Adam was fantastic
Adam was fantastic. Honestly, if you get a request from Adam, consider yourself lucky. He took amazing care of our senior cat - when we came back she wanted to play with me which she hasn’t done for a long time - clear sign that Adam’s presence made her younger :). He was super self sufficient and absolutely reliable. His great qualities showed as well when a technical issue in our flat arose. Due to our boiler’s failure, we left Adam without hot water and heating and Infelt super sorry for that but Adam was very helpful and chill and helped us to solve the issue quickly organizing his day around the repairmen’s visit.

Adam was an excellent cat sitter
Adam was an excellent cat sitter for us and we couldn't be happier with how he looked after our cat in Hong Kong during the summer holiday period. His communication was regular both before, during and after the cat sit. Over the 6 weeks he stayed in the flat, he sent regular updates and photos. He managed to get our previously shy and nervous rescue cat to be sociable, relaxed and at ease in our flat. He really cared for and looked after Nelson, and we have returned home to a more comfortable and confident cat. I think our cat is missing him, as they bonded so well! Adam was also very clean and tidy - the flat was spotless when we returned. I highly recommend Adam as a pet sitter! He was superb.

I am so happy, we picked Adam as a houses sitter, everything was absolutely perfect. Adam was the perfect housesitter and took excellent care of George. He was super easy to communicate with from the very beginning and even before he arrived we knew that we could trust him with everything. We were regularly updated with photos of George, which meant our break was all the more relaxing knowing that he was in excellent hands. We unfortunately only managed to coincide very briefly on return, but we arrived back to a perfectly clean apartment and a very content cat – George was clearly very well looked after. Adam did a fantastic job looking after Bailey
Adam did a fantastic job looking after Bailey, India and my apartment while I was away for 3 weeks. He kept me up to date on how the kitties were doing with photos and messages and was a real champ about handling a lock in my front door which suddenly got jammed and had to be replaced. I couldn't have asked for a more patient, accommodating sitter who really went above and beyond the call of duty, waiting at my place for the repairman to fix the lock and letting me how it all went. Furthermore, I could tell that Bailey and India were receiving lots of cuddles and good company. They were well groomed, relaxed, happy kitties upon my return. It was a pleasure having Adam as a sitter, as in addition to being responsible and well organized, he also has a gentle and friendly manner and was always enjoyable to speak to. Adam did a great job caring for our two cats while we were out of town. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with before, during, and after the trip. Our cats were very comfortable with him (even our anxious male cat) and he provided daily updates to put our minds at ease. He left our home super clean and tidy and even washed the sheets and towels. I highly recommend choosing Adam for a sit and we would certainly welcome him again in the future!

Adam did a great job in looking after the cat for three weeks. Immediately before I left, the cat was ordered to begin a series of medications — Adam delivered the medicines and the cat was in better shape when I returned than when I left. Taking care of the cat is what it is all about — but the house was in great shape, too. I am happy to recommend him.

Adam was a tremendous housesitter. He's kind, really friendly, loves cats, is tidy and was thoughtful sending us some lovely photos. He left our home in a great condition for our return. Adam was a great cat sitter. A very gentle and kind person. This was actually the second time he has watched Simon. He also stayed here pre-Covid but I forgot to leave a review. Communication with him was easy as was arranging to hand over the keys. While we were away for 3 weeks, he sent us photo updates on Simon. He also oversaw the installation of a new dishwasher and helped with a few other things we had to deal with from afar. The apartment was in great shape when we returned and there were no problems whatsoever. He was very responsible. We would definitely ask him to stay here again.

Great catsitter
Adam came for 20 days to take care of my 2 cats. He took very good care of the cats, they loved him. The communication was fantastic: Adam stayed in contact with me all the time, he sent me updates on the cats and pictures of them. Although we never met Adam personally due to circumstance, he was a pleasure to have sit for us. He regularly sent us updates of our little cat who looked so happy in his care, kept the house spotless and even helped us with our garden while we were away. Our cat seemed to miss him when we got home, it was nice for him to be the centre of attention for a while! Adam is an excellent catsitter. He gave our cat Benny lots of attention and care, so that when we returned after nearly a month Benny was obviously happy and healthy! The house was left in good order and the garden watered during dry spells.He sent photos and messages all through. I recommend Adam for any future sits.
