About this sitter
Natascha (50) and Leendert (63) could be the perfect housesitters for you. We decided to give up our “defined” careerpaths by the end of 2018 to enjoy a more flexible and exploring outdoor lifestyle. We have been housesitting in Portugal in 2019. In 2020 corona has forced us to stay in the Netherlands. For future assignments we're looking for an assignment were gardening and some DIY maintenance is key.
Why they want to house sit
Still very active and energetic, we are looking for opportunities to mix traveling and longterm stays to experience a more local lifestyle while being abroad. Therefor we would love to offer our gardening skills and our DIY mentality in return for a home away from home.
Their experience
Natascha has a background in the vacation rental management business and has been responsible for all aspects of service towards home owners and guests during her career. She house sat herself occasionally for family. Together we have taken care of an extraordinary beautiful estate in Portugal during 2019. As of 2021 we will be looking forward to take care of your house while sharing ours with others.
What can they bring to the assignment
We bring positive energy and a huge sense of responsibility. We are a non-smoking, nature loving, steady, complementary couple and therefor capable for all sorts of tasks during housesitting. Leendert is an experienced hobby gardener and handyman. Natascha speaks/writes French fluently and masters German and English as well.

Natascha and Leendert, our wonderful housesitters.
Natascha and Leendert are wonderful house sitters. Our two older cats, Pumpkin and Queenie, who were always wary and shy of new people, warmed up to them. They allowed themselves to be stroked , cuddled and talked too without scurrying away like before. Rosella, of course, got along with them like a house on fire. Natascha and Leendert kept the house, garden and frog pond clean and tidy . The minor household items they had used were replaced and even stock up on vegetables and fruits for us when we returned. Our kitchen cupboard door opens easier due to Leendert handiwork. They harvested the bananas from our garden and shared them among the neighbours and had a great rapport with them. Natascha and Leendert love to immerse themselves into the local scene , culture and especially food. Both are friendly, respectful and mindful of local customs and culture. After the sit, they travelled around Malaysia and the region using our home as a base. The days when they were back proved to be great for us and we got to know these two genuine and warm people even better

Natasha and Lee are the perfect house-sitters.
Natasha and Lee are the perfect house-sitters. I really felt relaxed with them. They kept the place in immaculate condition and liaised with any issued that arose. They speak perfect English and were sitting for me from Jan to Mid November 2019 . They cared for the horses and donkeys and maintained the houses and grounds. I checked in with Natasha every 2 weeks or so and always enjoyed our warm friendly chats , she is a great communicator . Lee is a wonderful photographer and sent me beautiful photos of the land .As my property is on the market for sale , they prepared for viewings and assisted my agent in the most professional way . I really felt like they were acting in my best interests and informed me of any thing they thought I should know. They enjoyed friendly relations with the locals . Natasha and Lee are highly intelligent and practical and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough . If you are considering this couple , don’t hesitate as you will be fortunate to have them .
