About this sitter

I'm now, a retired woman. I'm a doctor in communication sciences and I have been a professor and researcher in this area for 38 years. Now I am a counselor in this field of knowledge, and I write scientific articles. I love the simple things in life: walking with a pet, watering plants, organizing the house, admiring nature, listening to music and watching classic movies. I deeply love animals; I believe that speciesism is unfair and that we will be forever in debt to these little angels, so if we have the opportunity to take care of them and love them, we will recover our profound humanity.

Pets are little angels who bring a lot of light to our life and to the world. . At this stage of my life, and with the option of traveling from one place to another, I decided that the pets of others can also be, even if only for a period of time, my own to give them love and also receive their affection.

Why they want to house sit

We can build a better world for all, and this platform offers us the opportunity to help us. From my own experience I know that our pets are more comfortable in their own space.
On the other hand, the experience of being in the house of others shows us another way of traveling and connecting with a physical space that although it does not belong to us, we can temporarily feel it as our own and take care of it with care. The feeling that someone trusts us, even without knowing us, is of immense value and commitment. Also of gratitude because that other one, offers us the opportunity to know a new place and to enjoy it.

Their experience

In my life, pets have always been present. With all these years of coexistence, I learned to identify their signs of well-being or discomfort, to understand that they are not objects. In addition to the experience I had with my own pets: dog and cats. I have looked after the pets of my neighbors when they go on trips. And I also already took care of a pet through this platform.

What can they bring to the assignment

Knowledge, experience, responsibility and love. A learning to share with other people and live with joy the adventure of life and the gift that gives us the universe to meet people and pets. I did a short course on communication with animals, and I just finished a course on food security and sovereignty and finished other about organic agriculture.
I do not smoke or drink alcohol and I do not use drugs either.
