About this sitter
We are a retired dutch couple (physiotherapist and teacher) with two independent grown-up children.
After taking care for our parents, now we have time to travel again.
We have a lot of hobbies, walking, biking ,gardening, silversmithing, textiles, reading, etc.,( don't like to do nothing.)
We are handy, rebuilded a few houses and mostly we can solve problems if they occur.
Why they want to house sit
Housesitting is an opportunity to discover a region without a hurry and touristic madness , and tasting the "normal" live.

We have a lot of experience in France, Spain, Portugal, and the owners are willing to give references.

What can they bring to the assignment
We are honest and reliable and will do our best to get both satisfaction (the owners and the sitters) through good appointments.
(a lot of experience in building, plumbing, gardening and a little bit knowledge of electricity.)
we amuse ourselves because we bring some of our hobby's with us in our little campervan.
we speak|understand englisch ,german, a littlefrench and where many months in Portugal so there we can get what we want.

Excellent house sitters
Ruud and Trudy were superb. A well organised, reliable and friendly couple. They were patient with our fussy cat and brilliant with our dog, taking him on long walks and runs. They followed the instructions for managing our off-grid system and did everything well. The house was clean and tidy on our return, everything in it's place, and a lovely welcome with a meal prepared.

Very experienced house sitters
Ruud and Trudy looked after our house, garden and cats for nearly 3 weeks. We found them to be a charming couple who quickly appreciated what and how things needed to be done. Great Housesitters!
Ruud & Trudy are the ideal housesitters. They are very capable, friendly, practical and organised. They took care of our house, the garden and both our cats extremely well.
