About this sitter
I am a remote PA, digital designer and artist. My remote PA job is part-time, and I sell my art pieces independently and to galleries. Christian is a software developer, who works from his laptop. We work between 2 - 4 hours a day, usually in the evening after dinner, leaving us plenty of time to look after your pets and house.
We don't smoke, and very rarely drink. We always aim to leave your home tidier than we found it!
Why they want to house sit
We enjoy visiting places for a few weeks or months and we can work anywhere there's an internet connection - and sometimes even where there isn't!
Their experience
Because we can live and work anywhere, we often get called on by friends, family and previous housesit home-owners to look after houses/plants/animals while they're away. We have used this site and others over the past few years too.
We have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, horses, sheep, birds... anything really! I am very experienced with plant care, and can manage anything from potted plants to large gardens.
I am quick to pick up languages other than English, I can manage the basics in French and Italian, I'm also learning Standard Arabic. Christian is quicker to pick up Spanish than me!
I grew up helping my parents build houses, and looked after a pack of rescued Jack Russells. I have training in fine art, textiles, and carpentry. Before I moved to remote work I taught in a secondary school (11-16 years), primarily in construction, but also art and design technology. Christian grew up on a farm, and is very experienced with solar-setups. We are very handy when it comes to DIY, building, painting, living off-grid, and tending gardens. We currently live off-grid, but sadly our space is too small to have any animals of our own!

We aim to be the Ultimate Modern Sitters: we can provide daily photo updates of your furry friends, GPS routes of our walks, messages about any problems along the way, so you can enjoy your time away from home worry-free.

Caitlyn and Christian looked after my place brilliantly, They settled in very quickly and took over the management of the house and animals really efficiently. As I was coming and going in the middle of the sit I got quite used to Christian doing the cooking! Which was an added bonus. They were extremely peaceful to be around which is why I think the animals liked them so much.. Everything was left clean and tidy, and my stable yard has never been so neat. They were excellent communicators, I got pictures and videos of my happy animals while I was away, and they took farrier visits and food deliveries in their stride. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone as reliable and competent to look after all your animals.

Narrowboat sit
Lovely, very likeable couple who looked after our 2 dogs on our Narrowboat while we were away for 4 nights. House was kept well and more importantly the dogs were well cared for with regular updates. Wouldn’t hesitate to ask them again Thank you both

Very Good house sitter
We found Christian after we had been let down by two different house sitters and as it was for house sitting while we were away over both Christmas and New Year we were concerned it would be hard to find someone at short notice however Christian responded and was very good at confirming very quickly and sending us confirmation of his travel arrangements. We had a very relaxing break knowing that both our house and animals were well cared for and Christian sent us regular photos of the dogs so we could enjoy our break knowing they were happy in their own home. We would highly recommend Christian and would welcome him back anytime..
