About this sitter
We are a pet loving couple who love animals to bits. Angelo is a Portuguese citizen who has travelled the world and hence speaks several languages (Portuguese, French, English, Spanish, Italian fluently - German almost fluently). I, Rose, an Austrian national, grew up in Switzerland, which explains my great care of other peoples properties.
Why they want to house sit
We love traveling, meeting new people, different life styles and above all discovering a country in a very different manner from the "main stream tourism" and this means, at least to us, living in a country for a little while in order to discover its inhabitants and their way of life.
Thus, we would love to meet you, take care of your "little babies" and take care of your house.
Their experience
We have cared/sat for 1 dog (Portuguese water dog) and 19 cats on our first sit and 3 dogs (1 Beagle cross (on wheels), 1 Jack Russell, 1 Dachshund) and 4 cats during our second and sixth assignment (same). Our third and fifth experience (both not via mindmyhouse) comprised a puppy (German Sheppard) followed by 3 cats only (all in perfect health). Our fourth housesit consisted of 4 cats (one with eczema).

Five times lucky
Rose and Angelo fell in love with Cyprus on their very first visit and still feel the same after their fifth sit for us. Luckily for us, they keep coming back each summer so that we can go back to the UK to visit family. We trust them implicitly with our home and animals. Sadly we lost our disabled little dog Bailey last October but we know that she was loved by Rose and Angelo and they missed her terribly this year You really couldn't wish for better sitters who go the extra mile for your pets and care for your home as though it was their own.

Excellent job once again
Rose and Angelo returned to Cyprus for the fourth time to look after our pets and home this summer. As ever, we were delighted on our return to find our pets had been cared for so lovingly. Our little terrier became unwell and they handled taking her to the vet and administering medication with their usual calm efficiency. They kept us informed of her progress. Our home was beautifully clean for our return as usual. We hope Rose and Angelo will return again next year.

Returning sitters
For the third year in a row we have been fortunate to have Rose and Angelo sit for us. We consider them family now and trust them implicity with our pets. They show true love for all of them and we are happy with all aspects of their care. You can tell the dogs have been spoiled with affection when they didn't show much interest in us when we arrived home. Look no further if you want reliable, devoted and kind sitters, but not next summer as we want them again.

Wonderful Sitters
This year is the second time Rose and Angelo have been our sitters. They did such a wonderful job last year that we had to invite them back and thankfully they were able to oblige. It wasn't an easy task making their way to us due to Covid restrictions, but they adapted to the circumstances with their usual can do attitude. The sit was for 8 weeks and during that time they had a lot to deal with including a broken down car and a burst water tank on the roof. Everything was communicated to us and documented in video form to us so we could advise the appropriate actions. These were followed meticulously and the issues resolved in good time. This was an enormous help to us being so far away. They also had to cope with the not unexpected death of one of our beloved cats, Tigger but Rose and Angelo once again, proved their worth in the compassion they showed to Tigger in her final hours, staying with her until she passed. You could not find better sitters anywhere. Their true love for animals shines through and their honesty and integrity is paramount. We hope they will want to return to Cyprus for many more years and we are happy to call them friends.

Purrrfect .
Honest,reliable and caring, l appreciated the regular emails and photos . The cats took to Rose and Angelo immediately, I had no doubts about leaving them. When l returned they were looking so well and content, l would certainly have Rose and Angelo to sit again.

Cyprus Summer 2019
Rose and Angelo came to look after our family of animals for 9 weeks this summer. We knew before we left that our pets would be in good hands and we came home to find that our faith in them was well placed. Their love and devotion, particularly to our disabled dog Bailey was clear to see. We didn't have the best of starts when one of our cats went missing on our last day but Angelo went above the call of duty by walking all round the village to look for him. To everyone's relief the cat came home a couple of days later and Angelo informed us immediately. We returned to an immaculate home and everything as it should be. Rose is a wonderful housekeeper. Her standards are very high. We were kept informed by Angelo who sent us updates every week which helped us to relax during our time away. Rose and Angelo made many friends during their stay and they plan to return to Cyprus later in the year when we hope to welcome them to visit. I can't praise these people enough for everything they did.

A great team!
Rose and Angelo are a lovely caring couple. They stayed at my finca for six weeks looking after my fur kids. You could not find more caring and trustworthy sitters. We communicated before they arrived then we had a week together before I left. They took great care to learn the names and characters of each cat and of my dog. They do more than just "mind", they really love animals and my fur kids love them. My dog still misses their quiet, confident company and the brushing he had from Angelo each morning! On our walk today he kept looking back to see if they were coming. While I was away they needed to take my dog to the vet. They were very capable and checked out and gave the necessary medication. I was able to spend four weeks away knowing that my fur kids were in good hands. I cannot speak too highly of them. I have them booked for next year! If you need house / pet sitters, look no further.
