About this sitter

I’m a retired, single, very independent lady who is ready for adventure experiencing different parts of the world. I spent many, many years cooped up at a desk with dreams of travel and new adventures. I have been Mama to several cats in the past. They were all “challenges” in the personality department but I loved them dearly. (So I can handle quirky pets). Since retiring I have cared for many dogs and cats of all ages and sizes for friends who needed a house/pet sitter. I can provide written referrals upon request. Being a stickler for cleanliness myself, I prefer a neat, clean environment. Doesn't matter what size, tiny is great, but just clean.

Why they want to house sit

As a retiree I have the time, energy and complete flexibility to travel but I’m a “frugal” person by nature and also out of necessity. Travel can be extremely expensive. I’d prefer to exchange the assets I can offer to someone in need to offset some of the expenses.

Their experience

I have experience with cats and dogs from being an owner and also pet sitting for friends. Even shy, timid pets seem to bond quickly with me.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am an extremely responsible person. I worked full time for 38 years and also worked part time jobs in addition to full time for at least 30 of those years. I am a fanatic about having a clean organized home. I don’t “party”. One glass of wine is perfect with me. Never smoked, no drugs or unexpected guest.
I don’t currently own pets but love their company.
