About this sitter
My partner and I are retired school teachers and experienced house-sitters. We own our own home here in Australia. We are quiet, reliable, young-at-heart and easy-going. We are happy to house-sit for periods of 2 weeks or more. We will feed pets, walk dogs, garden, water plants, and look after your home as if it is our own.

What can they bring to the assignment
We are mature, quiet, self-contained and easy-going. We have our own gorgeous dog here in Australia and would love your pets as much as we love our own spoilt pooch. My partner is a keen gardener and would love to take care of your garden and plants. We can provide personal references on request. I have an Australian Working with Children clearance and am a registered teacher. I can provide copies of these documents on request.

We recently had the pleasure of having Lisa and Steven Paddison pet sit for us while we were on holiday. They are the most lovely people and a joy to visit with even before we left on our trip. Lisa sent photos daily and kept us updated on what was going on with our fur babies while we were traveling. When we returned, the apartment was clean, our dogs were happy and well-cared for, and Lisa had even prepared dinner for us. Wow! So thoughtful and much appreciated. We highly recommend Lisa and Steven for house sitting and pet sitting. They are welcome to come stay again anytime.

Lovely couple
Lisa and Stephen came for a long weekend to take care of our little terrier in Brisbane. They arrived promptly at the time we organised and we proceeded to have a chat and familiarise them with our home and our girl. Lisa stayed in touch daily which we hugely appreciated. Our girl was well taken care of and was calm on our arrival home, our home was neat and tidy and Lisa had even taken the trouble to wash their sheets and towels. We were very grateful for the wonderful job that Lisa and Stephen did. We would happily have them back to care for our home and our beloved furry one.

Lisa and Stephen are brilliant house sitters!
We were so lucky that Lisa and Stephen were available to sit for us this past month. They are excellent house sitters, but also lovely people whom we really hope to welcome back to France once Covid restrictions are over. They have looked after our home and animals brilliantly and welcomed us home with a delicious dinner. Wonderful company (thank you for the literary discussions!) and with an enviable optimistic and positive outlook on life; it can’t have been easy during lockdown, but they remained cheerful, sending us frequent updates and photos to reassure us all was well. They were also very accommodating - staying on a further ten days so we could extend our time with our family. I thoroughly recommend both Lisa and Stephen and thank them both very much.

RELIABLE & EASYGOING
This was the first time we'd had house sitters, and I must admit, we were a bit worried about it, but everything went really well, and we were very relieved. Lisa kept in touch with us regularly throughout our absence. Our pets were pampered, and in particular, Otto, our young dog, had regular walks and seemed very happy and relaxed. It was a weight off our minds to know that we didn't need to worry about things at home. Lisa and Stephen are very friendly and easygoing - typical Aussies really. Nothing seemed to phase them. We live in quite a remote place, and we use wood for heating and hot water, so we were a little concerned that they'd find both these things daunting, but that wasn't the case at all. We were gone for two weeks, and when we returned it was as if we'd never been away. Everything was just as it was before we left. The cats were asleep on the sofa, the dog was pleased to see us, but quite relaxed, the house was clean and tidy. Lisa even cooked dinner for us. We wish Lisa and Stephen good luck in their future travels, and if you're looking for a sitter, we can certainly recommend them.

Reliable trustfull and helpfull Australian couple.
Lisa and Steven house sitted for me here in Pagnacco, while my family and me were travelling: they are totally trustfull and reliable persons, friendly and highly educated. They spent 20 days at our house: they both took good care of out dog+cat+golden fish, Lisa kept the house tidy and clean, she kindly watered the plants on terraces, Steven weeded the veggies garden and the front courtyard, he mowed the lawn too. Lisa and Stephen
In July 2020 whilst I was in Estonia for 12 days Lisa and Stephen came to look after my Jack Russell and 3 cats. I was sent pictures and reports to keep in touch. All went well, on my return we did we not meet because they had to leave early, however I found a meal waiting in the fridge and Stephen had weeded the yard and planted vegetables which are now thriving. So I can say that for their first sitting it was a success, I wish them luck in their new adventures.
