About this sitter
Hello!
I am Julia, woman, 65 years old, former school teacher, pensioner with big experience.
Now I live in Moldova. Moldova is not Afrika, it is located between Ukraine and Romania. I live in my own private house with a garden and two cats. I have a toy terrier and a Shar Pei named Sonya, who is completely blind. I have extensive experience caring for animals. But if anyone needs my help, my son looks after my animals, and I look after yours.

I've had experience at MindMyHouse with large dogs : two American pit bulls, a German Shepherd, a Labrador, a golden retriever, and a border collie. Now that I'm getting older, I can't leash the larger dogs, but I can play with dogs in the garden, and clean up their poop. Honestly, I walk long distances with a walking stick. BUT I can walk small dog about 1.5 km without a cane.
And I also speak cat language, even if the cat has an unusual personality.))

Why they want to house sit
I have a lot of time to devote to your furbabies. I can help you for 2-6 weeks. I will be glad if you invite me to (medieval) city with train or bus stasjon, with grocery store/market nearby. I want to explore country/city, so I can be away for 3-4 hours maximum,but not every day, maybe 2 times a week. Because furry children are waiting for me!

I can take care of cats or small dogs, your house and garden. I don't worry about cat or dog hair on my clothes, I don't worry if pets sleep at my sofa near my feets, then on my stomach, then at my head.. haha.. Please, write me in advance, I answer within one day.

You return to where you were happy
This is the second year I’ve asked Iulia to be the sitter for my sweet baby, Milo. We have stayed in touch since December of last year, checking in with each other regularly. I admit it’s difficult to consider changing sitters when my very first experience was with Iulia, she set the standard incredibly high. She is sweet, trustworthy, extremely respectful (not only of people but of space as well), and always punctual. Basically, she’s everything I look for in a sitter. She always arrives with little gifts for both Milo and me, and she sends me daily updates without me even having to ask, she knows how much I want to see my baby and how a bit anxious I can be. I arrived home on the same day she left (unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet), and once again she proved how thoughtful she is: she prepared food for me for when I got back and even cleaned out the house (the fridge too!) I truly appreciate every single gesture she has made for me, from the care and thought she puts into everything she does, to the way she creates new toys for Milo. Reliable, sweet, caring, wonderful human being
Iulia is truly an amazing person. From our very first video chat, I had an instant positive feeling about her. As someone who is typically cautious and distrustful, I was surprised at how quickly I felt I could trust her after just a brief conversation. (This was also the first time I left a stranger in my home.)...and I wasn't wrong. She is one of those old-school people, who do what they say, genuine, mindful of others, reliable, kind, organized, and incredibly calm. Her soothing voice and demeanor immediately put me at ease. I had the pleasure of spending 24 hours with her before leaving, and I honestly wish we had more time to chat, she is a pleasure to be around. My cat was treated like a prince, and I could see how mindful she was of my home. She even left me prepared meals (since I returned a day after her departure)and organized my freezer. Throughout my trip, she kept me updated with daily videos and pictures of my cat, sharing how he was doing and how he was feeling. I can’t recommend her enough. Dogsitter in Hamar christmas 2023
Iulia took care of our two dogs while we went on vacation for Christmas and new year. It was our first time using a dog sitter and was a little suspicious, but I’m glad we chose Ilulia. It all went over any expectations. Dogs were very happy , and house very clean and in perfect conditions when we came back. Iulia also received us with delicious food she had cooked for us when we came back. Thank you so much for everything Iulia. You became part of our family?? we hope to see you again ????

House/petsitter over Christmas and New Year
Iulia and her husband stayed at our house in Oberursel, Germany over Christmas and New Year 2022/2023. They were both very friendly and Iulia was very caring. They brought us some lovely gifts from Moldova when they arrived. They took really good care of the dogs, with daily walks and lots of cuddles. When we got home after our holiday the dogs were happy and settled, the house was clean and well looked after and Iulia made us a really nice meal with chicken soup and all kinds of nice Moldovan fish treats. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for house or pets and house.

Perfect match
Welcoming Iulia in our house for 3 weeks to take care of our beloved animals was the best thing ever! From the moment we met Iulia it felt like she was family. We had lovely chats and had lots of time to show her around our house before we left on our holiday. This being our first time with a housesitter we did feel a bit anxious, but Iulia made all our worries go away. She is a very warm and caring person and she has been great to our animals. This giving us the opportunity to enjoy our holiday with the warm feeling that our animals and house are so well taken care of. We came back in a very tidy house and garden and were welcomed by Iulia with a great family meal. For us Iulia has been the best housesitter we could have wished for. And it would be a pleasure if we can welcome her again in the future.

House/petsitting in Bosilkovtsi
Iulia stayed with me at Fuller Haven for three weeks and didn't waste a minute in getting down to helping in every way possible. She is an excellent cook and prepared both main meals and desserts for me every day...without being asked! She was also wonderful with my three dogs, Honey, Sunny and Poppy. She took them for long walks twice a day, groomed them, cut their nails and showered them with love...the perfect pet sitter! Iulia cleaned the house from top to bottom as well as performing all the other jobs I asked her to do. She is a wonderful woman and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, anywhere who is looking for a reliable, honest and caring person.
