About this sitter
We're a responsible, friendly, active, couple in our early 60s, happily married for over 36 years. After raising 3 wonderful children and a variety of pets in New Jersey, USA we decided it was time to sell our house and start our next adventure. Having met 38 years ago while backpacking in Australia we're doing a 360 and traveling again. We enjoy traveling, meeting new people and have made new friends including our hosts and their neighbors!
Why they want to house sit
House sitting gives us the opportunity to travel and we miss having pets and would love to spoil your "fur babies".
Their experience
Yes, we started house and pet sitting in 2019 in Wellington, New Zealand. Since then we've house sat in US, Panama, UK and Europe. We've looked after a variety of animals including dogs, cats, fish, a bunny, ducks, chickens, sheep, horses, goats and alpacas!
What can they bring to the assignment
We are trustworthy and having been long term home owners we know how important it is to care for a home and would be respectful of your property. We love to take long walks with dogs and cuddle with your cats and treat them as our own. You can be sure your house and pets will be well looked after, and we always put 100% into their care!

Cats and home in great hands.
The Phillips, Nick, Tatiana and Ryan are an easy to get along with family. They come highly recommended as great house-sitters and we cannot agree more. Our 3 cats were pampered and spoiled with treats, new toys and brushes. Ryan is great with cats and the other cats around our area misses him. They kept the house and garden clean and tidy and made friends easily with the neighbours. The Phillips are conscientious maybe a bit over conscientious and considerate as they replace everything and more they had used of ours. They even bought us a new French Press to replace ours which was old with a chipped spout which they really shouldn't have. Thank you . If they are your house-sitters, you can relax and enjoy your holidays knowing your home , garden and pets are in good loving hands.

GREAT PLACE close to GRAZ/Austria
TATIANA and NICK: we had the chance to have Taiana & Nick for house-sitting for 3 months. They did a great job : in our house, whole property, they took very good care of everything and all our animals. Our whole animal-family loved to be with Tatiana & Nick! During our absence we got messages nearly each day. We all hope to meet them again. We already asked Tatiana & Nick for another house-sit on our property in a natural and quiet area of Graz/Styria

Great Housesitters and wonderful couple!
We were so fortunate to have Tatiana & Nick available for our house sit. We only had a few weeks before our departure to make the arrangements so we were happy to be put at ease quickly during our first communications with this great couple. We prefer couples who have had some home and pet ownership experience and they fit the bill perfectly with their extensive sitting resume and previous roles as home owners before becoming full time travelers and sitters. Communications and conversations before their arrival were prompt and friendly, and we felt like old friends once we finally met, and our little dog Jack took right to them with their attentive and loving nature. During our 4 month absence we received regular text messages with pictures and updates of life back at home, which let us relax knowing everything was being taken care of. Nick did a great job maintaining our large yard during some challenging hot and wet weather, and all our normal maintenance items were handled with prompt precision. It was so nice to arrive home to a clean and tidy, well kept home and yard and a delicious dinner specially prepared with regards to my wife's vegetarian diet. We also enjoyed some very interesting conversations on life and travel, with Tat & Nick having very intriguing and interesting life stories. We hope to have the good fortune to have this couple return to our home to sit again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a responsible, caring and friendly couple to care for your home and animals.

Highly Recommend
Tatiana and Nick have just completed a 5 month house sit at our Panama Residence. They have cared for our 3 dogs and 2 cats with loving care. 2 of our dogs are senior and 1 requiring heart medication and the other younger one partially blind requires eye drops. All need a special diet they prepared as per our instructions. They sent us pictures of our happy animals weekly. WE could see they treated them like family just as would do. The house was kept clean and tidy and they managed to change the battery on our car, changed the oil, and even renewed the licence plates for us. They interfaced very well with our local Panamanian Maintenance liaison. The house was listed and the agent reported the house was always in excellent condition when it was shown. This is a happy capable couple who we would highly recommend and will ask them back if there is another opportunity.

The best house sitters ever
Tatiana and Nick Phillips jumped in to help when our assumed house sitters decided not to take the job. Although my husband and I only got to visit with them for 1 day before we took off we have felt like we have made 2 lifelong friends ! We left them in the care of our home and our 14 year old cat whom they have spoiled ROTTEN and we couldn't be happier ! My husband and I are gone for 4 months, have 1 more to go before we are home and it has really been a blessing and a relief to have the 2 of them at the house. They have even been overseeing a rental unit that we have at our home and mixed into the community very nicely. We are hoping they will stick around for at least a few days when we get back and we will certainly have them sit again for us anytime and would highly recommend them. Nick , who has a horticulture background even contracted on to do some landscaping for us ! How great is that ?!
