About this sitter

We are an animal, nature loving couple from Berlin.

He (German) works at home. I (Japanese) am self-employed and live together with two cats.
We sometimes do pet sitting for family, friend and like to have an animal with us.
We have been using this website since 2019 and loved this experience so much that pet sitting has become part of our life.

We are quiet, vegetarian since childhood, do not like party, do not smoke and happy to be with animals.

Why they want to house sit

We love animal, and we are interested in living in other parts of the world as well.
During our holiday we used to watch wild birds, sheep, cows, horses, chickens etc.… and dreamed to have some animals with us or to live at a farm with animals…

We could have some experiences through this site, and we are very happy with this.
We are happy too, if we could help a pet owner. It is a "win-win"!

We are happy to invite you for our cats, if you want to visit Berlin someday :)

Their experience

Our loved black cat "Olli" suddenly passed away in 2024.
We have now adopted two cats "Kurumi" and "Kiki" from animal shelter.
We decided to have cats again, after one cat sitting experience from this site, though we were not sure if we wanted to have a pet again.
Kiki is very anxious, but after a year she has gotten used to us little by little.

We sometimes take care of guinea pigs of our friend, during their holiday.

We did pet sitting 5 times through this website together, and I did it alone 3 other times until now (2025).

I grew up with 4 cats and have experience of taking care of one small dog for 1 year as I worked as an Aupair.
I used to take care of budgerigars of my parents, while I am at parent's house.

My boyfriend had 4 cats until now. He loves cats, and he is very good at taking care of animals.

We used to help my parents field work for vegetables, fruits, flowers, trees. Now I inherited the field and try to return to Japan every spring to manage the fields and dig bamboo shoots etc.

What can they bring to the assignment

We look after your pets as you wish, and we will send you a little update such as photos, videos, so you can feel safe.
We have cats too, and know how you feel to leave your pets during the holiday. As we are happy that we get updates of our cat during our holiday from our friends, we would do the same for you.

We like green and have many potted plants. And we are happy to take care of yours as well.

We are neat, tidy and will treat your home and belongings with full respect as if it were our own.
