About this sitter
We are an energetic retired couple, Darrel from transportation logistics sales and Sharon from administration of our company. We started housesitting part time in 2012. In August, 2013 we left our home of 17 years in West Kelowna, BC with the intention of travelling and housesitting our way around the world for the next 1-1/2 to 2 years. That changed along the way, and we have been housesitting ever since although not full time. We have now completed over 100 house and pet sits.
We are non-smoking, non-drinking, health conscious, respectful ,neat and tidy animal lovers.
Why they want to house sit
We have no pets at home after many years of pet ownership and enjoy the opportunity to mind others loved ones, giving them piece of mind while they travel. Additionally, we love to explore new foods and find travelling a wonderful way to discover new local cuisine.

Sharon and Darryl were friendly and easy to coordinate with regarding our housesit. Our dogs were well loved on and happy with their walks and snuggles. Everything went very smoothy and their years of experience with housesits was evident in the ease of communicating with them. House was clean and tidy and even prepared a lovely dinner for our arrival home. Would highly recommend!
