A retired couple. One Swedish man and one Belgium woman

About this sitter

I, Tomas, am a retired officer of the Swedish Coastguard. When I turned 60, I decided to take the opportunity to bring my working career to a close and start a new chapter in my life.
I was born in 1958. I live in Portugal in the winter and in Sweden in the summer.
Martine is 66 years old and originally from Belgium, but now lives in Portugal.
In between, whenever we feel like it, we travel around Europe in our camper van. Tomas speaks Swedish, English and German, and is trying to brush up on his school French a little.
Martine speaks Dutch, French, English, a little Spanish and a little Portuguese.
We both find it easy to get on with people. We’re very honest and reliable.
If you have a place that needs looking after and tending to for a certain period, we’d love for you to get in touch. We’re very flexible and have no objection to pets. Tomas grew up with dogs, cats, horses and chickens and has no problem working or doing other things you might need help with.
We’re open to suggestions from all over Europe. Perhaps your home is already on our route, or we wouldn’t mind adjusting our route so that we can visit your country, region or neighbourhood.

Why they want to house sit

We find it nice to stay on different places, meet new people and cultures. For us it would give the oportunity to see something new on the same time as i could give some help to the home owners.
If You have a place where we can park our mobile home (when we are travelling with this) it would be perfekt. Or maybee a contact where it can be safely parked during my stay at yours.

I Tomas have had three own houses in former days. Done smaller renovations and taken care of my properties.
