About this sitter
For the past 9 years I've traveled full-time (sold my house and put what I have in storage so I could be flexible) and worked virtually. I've housesat in many, many homes and stayed as a guest in friends' homes over the years. I like to try new things, get to know new people and treat their home as respectfully as I would my own.
While I've been doing longer housesits for the past few years, some of my circumstances have changed so I can right now only consider shorter sits (around 2 weeks or so).
Why they want to house sit
I love getting to know new parts of the country (and world!). I have the flexibility to do so with my work. I've been all over the US in the past 9 years and I'd love to help you feel safe about your home while also having a new environment for myself!
Their experience
Very experienced. I've done nothing *but* stay in others' homes for 6 years. Having been a homeowner myself I know what it feels like to want your home to be well taken care of. I'm attaching 50+ references from my airbnb stays; in addition I've done housesitting for friends and friends of friends many times. They keep asking me back so something must be working right :).

Very Professional
Wendy house and cat sat over a long Labor Day weekend. It was an absolute pleasure having Wendy pet and house sit. Our paths never physically crossed - although we did facetime. Wendy drove in from AZ (8 hours away) and arrived at the time she said she would and immediately started hanging with our cat Josie, which made Josie happy. When we came home the cat was happy, the house was clean and the sheets & towels were washed. I look forward to having Wendy house sit for us again.

The Savannah summer with Wendy
Wendy took care of our home and dog for almost 2.5 months while we were almost 5,000 miles from home. It was after deciding our large dog wouldn't make the trip to Hawaii we looked into finding a house sitter. I'll cut past all the semantics and feel good statements and tell you the truth. Wendy was more than I had wanted, expected, and hoped for. She was kind and communicative. She was great with our dog. She left the house in perfect order. She was adaptable and easy to make plans with. It was perfect. She was perfect. Her above traits let us focus on our time away and not stress the home or dog. If you get the opportunity to let her sit for you I assure you, they may come as good, but not better. Thanks Wendy! You really were the best!

Wendy was awesome!
Good morning. Wendy house sat for us from late October last fall to mid April this Spring. She was extremely responsible. Stayed in close touch with us. Was quick to reach out if she had a concern. For example she discovered a minor leak under a sink, and if I remember correctly under a basement toilet, which we were able to get repaired quickly thanks to her being observant. She helped manage our mail, kept all of my plants healthy. We had her start our car once a month. It was winter so I assume she had some shoveling to do. Watered plants outdoors during a particularly dry time. Our home is in good condition thanks to my handy husband but there were some minor things that required attention. She did a great job of observing and caring for our home. We do not have pets so I can't speak to that, but everything else was great. We came home to a well kept, very clean home. And yes we have already talked with her about caring for our home again this next winter. We just need to establish the dates that we will be gone for her. Bottom line... we highly recommend Wendy. I don't think you will be disappointed
