About this sitter
Although I am rather old I still am doing my daily 10 or more -km-walks and love hiking along naturetrails. I love to learn to know other people, landscapes and towns especially in south Europe. I can speak a little spain and am speaking englisch very well.
Why they want to house sit
It is a very interesting way to learn to know other areas, people and animals. Yes I have had housesits already, in Heidelberg/Germany, in Zurich/Switzerland as well as Lausanne. Also I have been for some weeks on a sit on Madeira, and on the Canaries. Mostly I looked for cats. Also I have grown up on a farm und am still living on one, so I am used to handle animals as long as they are not big as cows or horses.
Their experience
Up to now I have been caring for cats in all housesits, but here I have been looking after the dog of my brother every now and then, so think, also grownup dogs should not be a problem. Also guinea pigs, hamsters or turtles and hens would be no problem.
What can they bring to the assignment
I have fun playing with cats or dogs, cuddling them and keep them fed and safe. Every now and then I also have taken care of some small fishes.

Brigitte was perfect
We knew we would trust Brigitte the moment we met her. Not only was she friendly and inquisitive, but as the owner of a B&B herself, we knew that she could take care of anything that came up. And it did! Some pipe was leaking behind our walls (an architectural mistake) and she dealt with the Hausverwaltung for us. That is not something every house sitter has the maturity to deal with. She also noticed a fungus infection on one if my favorite plants, so she went to the Baumarkt and got everything needed to take care of it. She even went shopping for us on the day before we arrived, so as not to come home to an empty fridge. We received regular updates and pictures of our cat. The house was immaculate when we arrived, much cleaner than what we left her. I could go on and on... We highly recommend taking her for plants, cats and fish. And we hope that she comes again.

Best sitter ever!!!
Brigitte looked for my cats and the house now three times and me and my cats loves her. She is so clean, responsible, quiet and y would ever asked her beforde I asked a new sitter. She is a good freind now for my cats and me. Thank you very much Brigitte!
