About this sitter
We've been empty nesters and working remotely since 2020. We want to tend gardens and plants, care for pets, live in different places, and explore food markets. This past year we have enjoyed stays in Turkey, Japan, Greece, Italy, France and the US. We are vegetarians, non-smokers, and very tidy. You would have a reliable couple to stay the entire time as requested and manage any other arrangements as necessary.
We’re looking for place to write and work online. Kumiko is a Montessori teacher and I’m chef, author and educator. My wife and I have had pets for many years—dogs and cats—and have Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid Certification. We keep a very clean kitchen and house. Kumiko and I are very experienced travelers and house-sitters. We are listed on four separate sites in addition to Facebook pet sitting groups. We are happy to provide additional letters of recommendation and references from other sources. We have been both house sitters and hosted house sitting for many years all around the globe. Excellent house and cat sitters!
Randall and Kumiko came to our rescue when our original cat sitter fell through at the last moment. They were able to arrive to our home within a couple days and instantly earned the trust and affection of our cats. We received daily communications and pictures and felt completely confident that our cats were receiving the best possible care, attention, and affection. Upon return, the house was cleaner than we had left it, with everything in order, happy cats, and nice clean bed linens. We feel very lucky to have had Randall and Kumiko as house/cat sitters and wouldn't hesitate to have them look after our cats again.

Absolutely the best house/pet sitter you'll find!
Randall minded our home with expert care while giving loving attention to our mini Corgi, Philly and long-haired ginger cat, Leo. It gave us comfort to know the house and animals were being so well taken care of while we were away - Randall sent frequent photos of the animals as they were out on walks, assuring us all was well. When we returned from our venture, the house was tidier than we left it and the animals were happy! We enjoyed the interaction we had with Randall, and sincerely hope he (and his wife) will return to help us out in the future.... A++ reference!!
