I am a mature trustworthy person with experience of several house sits
both in the UK and abroad. Looking for lovely pets, friendly communicative home owners and great locations.
Why they want to house sit
A Law Graduate with a varied professional background. Since 2000 I have worked as a Tour Manager/Guide specialising in Italy.
Pet/House sitting has been my post-lockdown activity as I have not returned to working as a Tour Guide, and it has been an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

What can they bring to the assignment
I am well travelled so adapt to new places quickly. Originally from a farming background I have lots of experience and love of animals large and small so they would be well cared for and loved in the owners absence. I am also quiet and clean so the owners home would be well looked after and I'm unlikely to upset the neighbours.

Perfect house sitter!
Jill offered to house sit for us at the last minute after an arrangement with another sitter had fallen through. I was a bit stressed by the last minute change in plan but Jill put my mind at ease immediately with her calm and friendly manner. We had some email communication in the lead up to the assignment which was very clear positive. My mother collected her from the coach and they got on very well together, even meeting up for coffee during Jill’s stay. Jill sent us regular email updates to let us know that everything was going smoothly, and when we returned the house was clean and tidy and the cat happy and well fed. Very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend Jill as a house sitter!

Housesit in Newport, Shropshire
Jill took excellent care of my house and pets during my three-week absence. She arrived the afternoon prior to my departure in order to familiarise herself with the routines and meet the animals. We enjoyed a good conversation over an evening meal. Polly Pocket and Bubble were very relaxed when I returned home and my neighbours also said how much they had enjoyed chatting with Jill over the fence. The house was immaculate on my return and I would welcome Jill back at any time. I have no hesitation in recommending her to other homeowners.

Caring and communicative
Jill was very caring and considerate with our dog and our house. As this was our first time with a house-sitter she advised us on things we may wish to consider which we had not thought about (like leaving the vet details) and so everything went very smoothly. We came back and it was all in perfect order. Thank you Jill for being the perfect sitter!

Jill Coy is highly recommended
Jill was a great house sitter. We spent a nice first evening in a local pub, so got to know each other a little. Also, we arranged how often to be in touch before I left. Jill she cared for my cats for just under a month and they were both very happy and well when I came home. The house was tidy and everything in order. What more can you ask? I would certainly ask Jill again.
