About this sitter

I am a 37 year old British national working in NY. I have been here for over six years living in a small apartment in Manhattan.
I am looking for opportunities to get out of the city for short-term trips to give me some new perspective and a refresh.

Why they want to house sit

I like staying in a location where people live rather than a nameless hotel when I travel. With current travel restrictions, I am reluctant to break the rules on going out of state but would like the opportunity to 'get away from it all' and experience a different pace of life while maintaining my day-to-day work requirements.

Their experience

I am a homeowner myself in the UK, so I am used to dealing with problems as they arise and taking care of a place as if I own it.
I have several high reviews on Airbnb from trips I have taken.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a fairly quiet person - aside from a tendency to sing to myself - and content to work during the day and curl up with a book or TV in the evening. If in the countryside, I'd like to take the opportunity to go for walks and take advantage of the fresh air.
I am happy to follow any instructions given - it is your house, not mine to make sure you return to everything as you would expect.
I love animals and have helped out friends with sitting their pets.
