About this sitter
We are a married couple living in Madrid, both architects working remotely for offices abroad. Thanks to this, we have lived in different countries for the last 10 years.
Four years ago we moved to Spain and we have really enjoyed getting to know this beautiful country. We like places where we can get away from the noise of the city for a while and take the opportunity to learn a little about the local culture. We both speak spanish, english and Javier also speaks french.
Why they want to house sit
Doing house sitting allows us to change the landscape, something that is appreciated when you spend many years working remotely from home. We have also discovered that it is a fun way to get to know hidden corners of Spain while we relax from city life for a while.
Their experience
We both come from families who own farms therefore we are quite familiar with life in the country,
Right now we are dedicated to being a foster home for a homeless dog foundation called ¨Huellas sin Hogar¨, so we are used to taking care of pets.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are pet lovers and gardening enthusiasts. Javier is also a handyman and can repair almost anything with the most basic tools. As architects, we are always open to provide suggestions for the improvement of the properties, in case someone is interested. We speak spanish, english and a little of french.

Very loving and responsible dog sitters
Leonor and Javier looked after my dog for six weeks this summer and took really good care of him. To make the high temperatures as bearable as possible for him he got his showers and the fan always nearby. Apart from that they walked Wolly twice a day and made sure not to leave him alone for a long time as he loves having company. I received pics or short videos on a regular basis which added to my peace of mind. When I came back I found a very relaxed and happy dog! Altogether you can be assured your pets are looked after by very conscientious and attentive sitters. Thank you so much!

What we needed
Maria Lenor and we're excellent sitters they were patient with our grumpy old fella and played with and amused our younger dog. My older dog needed a couple of vet visits while we were away and they handled everything that was needed with kindness and understanding. i was very worried about our older dog but felt reassured and confident he was in good hands. We came home to happy dogs and a clean house. Highly recommended.

Great dog/house sitters
Leonor and Javier were ideal sitters. They communicated well and took great care of Roxy. Roxy grew very attached to them and enjoyed her days at beach, which was a great treat for her and a big effort on their parts to take her far on the metro! So thanks for giving my dog a great vacation! The house was impeccable when I came home and they adapted to my travel times. 100% would have them again.

Very nice and responsible people
Javier spent 6 days looking after my two cats, unfortunately, Leonor couldn't come this time, but Javier managed to keep the house tidy, the plants watered, the cats fed and accompanied, and I couldn't ask for more. He was working from home, so I know my cats wouldn't be alone all day, He sent me daily videos and pictures where the cats looked relaxed and happy. I would definitely recommend them for future house sittings. Thanks again, guys!!

Super nice & respectful couple
The housesit was very easy and fast to arrange. They were super flexible even when we needed to slightly change the dates last minute. When we came back we found the house super clean and ordered. We' ll deffinatelly invite them to housesit for us again.

A great fit all around
Maria Leonor and Javier were a delight to have house and pet sit for me. From the moment I spoke to them on video call, I knew they were the right choice and when they arrived and got down on the floor to greet my excited dogs, I knew for sure! They communicated very well throughout and sent regular pictures. They were extremely tidy and efficient and left my home in great condition. If you are lucky enough to have them apply to sit for you, grab these two digital nomads and enjoy them - peaceful lovely people.
