COVID19
We facetimed with Ben and were able to meet for two days before we left for a pre-arranged stint as volunteers/caretakers at a lighthouse in Massachusetts.We left home knowing Ben would be responsible and responsive to our inquiries as he used our wifi to work from the Island. As it was the first time we had left our 2 one year old puppies, we were nervous about how everyone would handle it. The dogs loved Ben and he gave them enough activities and attention that they probably didn't even miss us. Covid19 restrictions and changes from Ben's boss forced him to return to the States early and with his help we were able to enlist another couple and acclimate them to Vieques. In short, Ben was very responsive to our needs and always available when we were asking for his help. We really appreciated his problem solving with us so that we could complete our responsibilities.

Excellent Housesitter
Ben far exceeded our expectations as a housesitter. He is a very nice, personable young man. He took very good care of our two chihuahuas and house for one month. He always answered any questions or concerns I had texted quickly. This was Ben’s first house sit and I am sure not his last. We were fortunate he was at home when a water sprinkler valve broke and he caught it in time to prevent major flooding. Upon our return, house was cleaned thoroughly and even a bouquet of flowers added a special touch. I hope in the future, he would return for another house sit.
