About this sitter
I am a single, 66yr. old new retiree eager to see more of the world. I have 20 years of experience with my own pets (2 cats and a dog), raised two boys on my own, had about 8 house sitters over the years.
I love animals!
Why they want to house sit
To see more of the world and to get my "pet fix" every now and again! I missing patting their soft fur!

I am mature, competent, kind and loving. I will talk to your pets and love them.
I’m a bit of a homebody, so a comfortable home for quiet reading In a comfortable chair/sofa in a cozy spot and a kitchen with all the amenities is the best fit for me.

Fantastic Sitter for Pets and House
Abby is a perfect catsitter - she is very reliable, organised and easy to communicate with. During 2 weeks in June 2022, she took amazing care of Lola and often sent me pictures and messages via phone. When I came back, Lola was happy and my place was clean and everything was great. House and Dog Sitting in Rural France
Abby came to look after my house, garden and 2 dogs whilst I had a long overdue trip to see family. She arrived without hassle and slotted into my rather quirky house and system straight away. I was very happy to leave everything in her capable hands. Dogs well tended and nurtured and house and garden in good order on my return. She even managed to come to terms with my very old tractor/mower - hats off to her for that. The lawn was impeccable. I recommend Abby, highly, to those seeking a good administrator in their absence. I hope we stay in touch.

RESOURCEFUL PERSON
Abby is very independent, organized and resourceful woman. I had to leave a day before then I couldn't explain everything about the house but she made do! She watered the plants even though I didn't tell her so when I got back my flowers were even more beautiful. She often sent me pictures of my cat. The house was clean and well kept. Recommended!
