About this sitter
My lifelong husband and I are a non smoking, animal loving, capable and kind, active and clean couple. Having taken early retirement we enjoy travelling and are open to similarly sharing our home with like minded folk who enjoy cooking, healthy living, animal company although at the moment we only have our TB horses who are taken care of.
Why they want to house sit
Having owned dogs and cats all our lives we certainly are well aware of the need to leave ones precious children in solid and caring, responsible hands and we can certainly provide that while bring appreciated and happy to respect ones home.

We seem to get asked frequently and have returned to many over the years, we prefer our hosts/ pets' do the talking!

Passing the baton
Liz and Vince drove all the way from Ireland to hold the fort for us for two weeks in October 2022, despite Liz nursing a wounded knee. We were thankful that they rose to the challenge and made sure our guests felt welcomed, something that's very important to us. Vince was up to any challenge due to his farming and mechanical experience and we came back to a mended gate post, plus they found their way to our poly tunnel and rescued some wilting tomato and strawberry plants .Liz left us a warming pie and a box of chocolates, plus all was clean and tidy, making for a welcoming home-coming. Thank you Liz and Vince, we wish you both every blessing.

Very attentive house sitters
Vince and Elizabeth took very good care of our house and cat. We also entrusted them with our car, and both house and car were returned in immaculate condition. They even prepared a meal for us for our return. Modjo, our cat, seems to have been positively pampered during their stay, as the many photographs sent during their stay bear witness. Vince is an excellent handyman, and even took on some DIY, and we now have a homemade tool rack in the garage and a barn door that no longer scratches the floor when opened. We are very grateful for their care and attention... as is Modjo!

Fantastic choice for looking after our cat Tilly
We were very fortunate to have Liz and Vince come and look after Tilly for a week while we were away. From the very beginning communication was easy, we were put at ease by their good nature and obvious experience in looking after pets. During our trip we were given regular updates and the odd picture which really put our minds at ease. When we returned the house was immaculate, Tilly was happy and they had also left some Easter gifts for our young children, plus some food in the fridge for us to eat after our long journey. I couldn't recommend Liz and Vince highly enough, we hope they will be able to look after Tilly for any holidays we take in the future.
