About this sitter
At 33, I'm at a time in my life where I'd like to take advantage of still being single and young. With the capability to travel easily, I also just want to experience life in different environments. I am clean and respectful. I take pride in the home environment and how important it is. Recently transferring from Denver to LA, I am looking to find homes to sit around LAX, but also in locations I have interest in visiting. I would love to find homes to sit in Latin America because I feel that I'm close enough with my Spanish that spending some time abroad where I would be forced to speak it everyday is all I need to become fluent.
Why they want to house sit
My interest in house sitting sparked over a year ago while house sitting for my mom and a couple friends. Watching their home and pets, I get a new experience each time. I am also excited to use these periods to read and write. My experiences so far have been very positive and this has become a great lifestyle addition.

I have a lot of experience house sitting over the last couple years and have really loved the opportunities it has given me. I’ve enjoyed pet sitting, traveling, and am big into gardening. I house and dog sitted regularly in Denver and now in LA. I could send you more references upon request of my previous sitting experience.
What can they bring to the assignment
I travel easy with my flight benefits at American Airlines. I can work mostly from home (with a flexible schedule at AA). I am a quick learner but also already have a lot of relevant experience.

Reliable and excellent pet sitter!
Galand stayed 3 days at our place, taking care of our dog (9 year old, lab/husky mix) and cat (15 year old). He took excellent care of our pets and was very responsive. When we came back both pets were just as we left them, in excellent spirits and it was obvious they had a great time while we were away and the house was clean. Highly recommend
Galand watched our two energetic dogs while we were away for a week. He was very responsive and great with follow up while we were making initial arrangements, and he was fantastic with our pups. He rolled with the challenges when our puppy got sick, and kept us updated. We felt totally comfortable knowing he was there, and capable of handling anything that came up. He was flexible with departure time when our return flight was delayed, and he left the house very clean. We're sad he's moving out of the area, and won't be around to watch our dogs again, but we're happy he's out there caring for other people's homes- he gives house-sitting a good name!

Galand was a wonderful housesitter for us and our two pups! Would definitely have him again.
Galand house sat and watched our two dogs for us while we took a week long trip. He was super responsive when setting up the initial meetings prior to our trip. When on our trip, Galand sent us great updates on how the house and dogs were doing and we felt very comfortable and confident having him watch over things. Upon return to our house, he left it extremely clean and exactly as things were when we left for our trip! Overall, wonderful experience and we would definitely invite him to housesit for us again.
