Hello there!

Thank you for your interest in our application. We are early retired professionals in our fields of work. We are a married French/American couple who live near Strasbourg, France. We are pretty international having lived and worked in several countries and we speak French and English. I'm Meilee and my French husband is Roland. We retired early and like to explore and experience different homes and regions.
Let me start by saying we love all animals and are very attentive to their needs. We will cherish your home and animals like our own.
We are world travelers and have lived and worked in several countries. We are currently primarily interested in Europe for a sit of several months starting 21 August 2026 till the end of 2027. We have done sits on other sites too in both the USA and Europe with Nomador and Mind my House with 5 star reviews. We joined Trusted House sitters and have completed a two month sit in Florida with excellent reviews as and several in France. We are also on Nomador. I was also a member on Rover so we are very used to all types of dogs. I have taken care of many of my own pets from fish, hamsters, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and birds... Most of our dogs have been rescues. We know how to grow things and garden... We have had our own swimming pool so we know how to take care of pools. Our house in Strasbourg is a Manor house and we have done extensive work on it so we know all about house repairs!! We have lived in Florida through several hurricanes so we are weatherproof as well lol. We are active and fit. We have a little dog that comes on our sits and she is well behaved. Lonnie is a Dashund mix and great with dogs and cats is good company for lone as animals. .but we love cats!!
Lonnie is fully vaccinated and extremely well behaved and well trained and traveled. We never leave as animals for more than a few hours or we take if we can dogs a long for rides. We make sure the animals come first! We follow your rules for your pets and your home!
We don't smoke and are clean and tidy. We are home bodies and like being with animals,
preferring to hang out around the home and take long walks. We don't cook a whole lot and practically vegetarian but we like good to wholesome food.
We are great communicators and will keep you updated whilst you are gone.
We can cook for your pets if needed and also can take care of sick or older animals. We love attending to plants and enjoy walking and reading and listening to music.
We have our own car in the US and France. We will drive to said location if in Europe.
We have one grown son in Paris and an 12 year old grandson.
