About this sitter
We are a young retired couple who have been out cruising on our now sold catamaran for the last eight years. We had occasional breaks house sitting along the way. We sold the boat, but we still like to travel. We have family and friends all across the country, so we are always going somewhere. We like to stop smell the roses, and pet the dogs. We love animals but can't really have any with our lifestyle. Your pets will get lots of love and extra attention. We love to walk, hike and watch a lot of movies So if it's long walks your dog likes or personal attention for your cat, we can fill the bill.
Why they want to house sit
We like to visit and spend time in new areas. House sitting gives us the opportunity to relax and enjoy locations that we may not have had the opportunity to see otherwise. Plus we get to love on that faithful friend and companion that we can't have otherwise.
Their experience
We sat 4 months at a remote location in Panama with two dogs and a cat..
We sat 1 month in Alaska with two big dogs that loved to hike.
Many other one week or less sits from Rhode Island to California.
We've taken care of big birds, fish and one time even a snake.
We are happy to provide references.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are mature, relaxed and competent. Dogs, Cats and exotic pets are all within our skill level. (well maybe not lions and tigers:) We've sat with animals with special needs and puppies that were just weened.
Being self sufficient on our sailboat gave us the experience to handle many different types of issues from mechanical to medical.

Extremely conscientious
We felt more confident with Anna and Brian then with any Housesitter, we have worked with in the past. They were extremely conscientious in caring for both our three dogs and our home. The best
Anna and Brian (and their granddaughter!) were the best! Easy to communicate with, loved the dogs (and the lone chicken!) took excellent care of my garden (lots of hand watering and pulling the hose around!) and left the house spotless! Anna & Brian with their 12 YO grand daughter did a great job at my place. Kept it clean & tidy and send pictures of the outings with out furry friends. They were super flexible about the overlap on the stay for our late return and o would complete recommend them to sit for others! They seem to love & understand dogs and were willing to put in the effort to make tjem a priority. Thx.

Wonderful housesitters
Anna and Brian are wonderful housesitters! We kept in touch before the sit and every couple of days that we were away. They clicked immediately with Pebbles and Poppy. Pebbles loved all the attention and Poppy was very happy to be brushed. The house was clean and tidy upon our return. We would definitely have them back again and would highly recommend them. Anna and Brian are a delightful couple. They arrived the night before we left and were chatty, friendly and easy going from the minute we met them. Charlie was super spoilt and had them around his paw, being his vocal self. He was happy and healthy when we returned and we had regular updates while we were away. Anna and Brian were amazing hosts
Anna and Brian were amazing hosts and took great care of our Jinx. ☺️ They stayed for a month and when we returned the house was spotless and Jinx was as happy as ever. Brian and Anna truly set the bar high
This was only my second time using sitters, and both experiences have been fantastic, but Brian and Anna truly set the bar high. They took exceptional care of our pets and home, going above and beyond in every way. From the moment they arrived, they put me at ease with their excellent communication, sending updates and photos so we knew our pets were in the best hands. When we returned, the house was spotless, and it was obvious how much love and attention our pets had received. The pets seemed to miss them when they left, which speaks volumes about the bond they created. It's not easy to find people who care for your animals like you would, but Brian and Anna did just that—and more! They are genuinely kind and thoughtful people, and it was a wonderful experience working with them. I’ll never hesitate to use them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy, compassionate sitters. I’m so grateful to have found them!

Anna & Brain were great
Anna & Brain were great. They bonded with our old dog and were able to adjust to her unique personality. They frequently sent photos which we really appreciated during our 3 month absence. They left the house spotless and even did some minor repairs. We highly recommend them and plan on asking them to come back in the future.

When we first thought of getting a sitter, we envisioned having our pet and home in the care of people exactly like Anna and Brian. Responsible, friendly, clean, communicative, quiet and trustworthy...they put Luna first and foremost. Our sit dates coincided with Mardi Gras here in New Orleans, so we knew there would be the temptation for sitters to join and perhaps get carried away with the festivities. Not to worry...for Anna and Brian, Luna always came first and they never left her for more than a few hours and always with our OK. We greatly appreciated that. We immediately felt comfortable with them when they arrived and even more so at the conlusion when we lunched and chatted, discovering our mutual interests. We could see how they fell in love with Luna quickly bonded with her, and she with them. And we appreciate that our house was as clean or cleaner when we returned. We would happily entrust home, pet and chickens to them any time.
